And that it needs to be professionally installed. So I guess you need to bring a technician with you when you go camping. 😆

I have an occasional problem that the feeder box will not drop into the chamber that feeds the unit, the flame will die out eventually...will a small electrical vibrator attached to the outside of the feeder...on a timer help?...are there any other suggestions?

In addition to all the other negative comments, did you notice the flue pipe at the top? No, because the connection is to a larger pipe. It looks funky even if a professional installs it. I saw one installed and in operation. I liked the vertical flue but the connection looks stupid. I would recommend you go where you can see it installed and operational before you buy.

I hear these things are a pain to keep clean? I would like a comparison to the other nonelectric stove "The Liberator" sounds like it might be a better option??

It's not rocket science to install your self. I am a old lady and did it. You put the stove pipe on it. Add your fire caulk and screws. Boom. Done. My stove even when through a fire. ( Not caused by the stove) it still works great. Easy to clean and not as messy as other stove to clean. Heats my entire house. I even have to open the windows and doors some times cause it gets to warm. It takes me about a day and a half to burn a bag of pellets. Make sure you keep you gaskets in good shape. Clean your stove all the way (wash it with dawn soap and water) in the spring. As long as you do that. There is little ash. And it burns great. I have had mine since before the wonderful man sold his invention to USSC. I have gone through burn baskets though. I think that was my fault. Check the welding when you buy it. Cause I bought one since then for my garage.. and I have had to have some stuff touch up.

Lets not bullshit. Youve never actually seen the stove in person....

I read that fly ash build up in the turns of the exhaust pipe causes air flow and efficiency to drop significantly within hours of use and is a hassle to clean out. Has this issue been resolved?

I use a leaf blower to blow the ashes out the top of the pipe without removing them. Remove burn chamber and put blower pipe in past the hopper feed hole. use an old towel to pack around it so it doesn’t blow back on you It works well.

what size vent pipe are you supposed to use for this stove? The 3" kit that I purchased along with it, doesn't work even though that's what was recommended. Ugh, frustrating.

I’ve owned one since 2016. I use a leaf blower to clean it out. I Take the burn chamber out and shove the blower in and blow the ash out onto the roof .

Payé ce prix , j'apprécierais que les soudures soit plus douce. Très jolie brûleur mais sérieusement les soudures gâche tout le travail c'est vraiment dommage
