Best White Queso Dip Quick & Easy Cheese Dip With Tortillas

Ойын-сауық

Welcome to the farm!!
A friend shared this easy and delicious Queso dip.
I hope you love it as much as we do.
Best White Queso Dip
12 Oz evaporated Milk
1 tablespoon cornstarch
3/4 lb White American Cheese from deli chopped up
4Oz mozzarella cheese shredded
2 tablespoons jalapenos, chopped, or chopped green chiles (canned is fine)
That’s what I used.
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg. Optional.
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
I use pico but you can use chopped tomatoes and cilantro. Use whatever you have.
Heat evaporated milk over medium heat in a small saucepan. Stir in the cornstarch and whisk to
Reduce heat to low. Do not allow to boil.
Immediately stir in the cheese a little at a time starting with the white american cheese. As you stir in the cheese, increase heat to medium and stir while the cheese melts.
When creamy add in the mozzarella. Again, stirring while the cheese melts,
Top with cilantro, tomatoes, and more jalapenos if desired. I used pico. I also served with flour tortillas. We love those instead of chips. But you can do chips! It’s all good. Enjoy!

Girl you crack me up about washing those lid tops and asking a grocery store employee about it!! But it is true. I don’t need to know why… And you took me back today to my childhood. I’d completely forgotten about can openers that made the triangle hole. Hadn’t thought about that in a hundred years. PS: the recipe looks great too!

That looks so easy and comforting. Here, in Texas, they use Velveeta cheese and rotel tomatoes in the slow cooker. Btw, I love nutmeg. I need to try your recipe, it looks like it has a lot more flavor. 😊

Hi Val thank you for this recipe, it looks so yummy. It will fit right in with my keto lifestyle, I will use cream instead since it is 0 carbs. I can’t wait to try this. I hope and pray that your shoulder and neck feel better. It does take a while for it to heal sometimes… I have injured my supraspinatus muscle in my rotator cuff over a year ago while moving and I am still doing therapy on it. Yeap, the older we get the longer it takes to heal😊… but it is ok I have my Jesus that gives me strength and courage to go through everything and anything I encounter. When my husband of 35 yrs passed away a year and a half ago, after praying a lot, the Lord gave me that peace that surpasses all understanding. He is so good to us. Even though I miss John a lot, I never feel alone anymore, Jesus is with me all the time. I know that Bible prophesies are coming alive right in front of our eyes and that Jesus will return for us soon. I will be with my John again and mostly I will be with my Jesus, I can’t wait to hug Him. Have a good weekend my friend You and yours are always in my prayers Maranatha Nicole

Looks good! But I have to tell you that I don’t like chili powder. It leaves a weird after taste in my mouth. When I cooked for a daycare they taught us to dribble a little food onto a spoon to taste the food. That way you can taste it without dunking the spoon into the pot.👍🏻
