I’m going to have this for the first dance at my wedding that’s occurring in the not too distant future. The woman I’m marrying I met 5 years ago when I was living in hotels drinking my life away. I fought in Iraq in 2004-2005 and had some issues. She met me and hung out with me everyday and gave me something to live for. We didn’t begin our relationship for two years we became best friends first. We started dating and moved into a house together. We were renting but through weekly Bible studies I was able to get right and put the bottle down. We bought the rental house we were in and eloped in a courthouse the next day but we’re going to have an official wedding. And this has to be our first song. She literally helped make me “Better Today” and this will be the song we publicly open our marriage to. Thank you Coffey.

My love passed away after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer, October 2016, he was 48 and 21 year Army Veteran. We were married for almost 29 years. I can honestly say he made me better than I was. I am sorry for your loss. My daddy also passed away in October 2016. He had stage 4 lung cancer. My mother & daddy were married for 52 years. May God be with you as you continue your journey in life here on earth. Many Blessings!!

Beautiful! Started watching your show and love how much your family loves each other. You are a excellent father, husband and very talented. These are qualities that are sent from God. Happy to hear about Criscilla beating cancer. My daughter had cancer at 15 months old and underwent chemo for three years and I had to leave work to care for her. Fell behind on bills. God saved my baby. I know the challenges that come. Stay positive! Prayers for your family. Beautiful souls!!

This is by far the best wedding song that I have heard yet. I listened to the words. Truly an awesome song. This song is also about what God has done in my life. I remember Coffey Anderson took time out of his busy life to help a bride and groom do their first dance in person in Alabama. I was the son of the DJ and wa in awe of the performance he put on. I hope to have him at my wedding someday.

I learned this song in 2013 or 2014 when I was in college. My music teacher introduced it to us. We sat wondering if it was a love or gospel song. The song was so powerful. After almost 12 years of being married 14 together total. It's a very true song my beautiful lady has definitely made me better than what I have been before.

I just saw a segment on the local Channel 5 news here about their journey and her diagnosis with stage 4 colon cancer. My heart hurts and my prayers 🙏🏼 go out to them. What a beautiful couple and lovely family. I’m battling stage 4 metastatic breast cancer since 2014 and pray God will give them many many more years together. This is a beautiful song. This is such a beautiful song. I found it over 2 years ago and asked my now wife to marry me while this song was playing. I had it playing in my truck with the windows rolled down out in the country and had huge lights displaying will you marry me spelled out. She undid her bandana and started instantly crying and nodding yes smiling ear to ear :) best day of my life! This was also was our wedding first dance song.

Man, you really are a great artist. CM community does not know what they are missing out on. You are better than most of the CM artist today.
