I just shut down the laptop lid and open it again and the display is back.

Anyone can help with this? My laptop is Dell G3 15 windows 10 .. when i press power button the BIOS screen [the black screen that is supposed to have the word Dell in the middle] is all black with white parts on the edges of the screen, and it keeps like that for few seconds and the windows log in normally, the screen is all good, all videos and game work properly. I cannot do anything in the BIOS system, i cannot install a new windows cuz i cannot see what is in the BIOS screen.

I'm so confused. ... Control Alt delete isn't an option since the screen is BLANK/BLACK. I just reset my laptop and took it back to factory settings, but I still have a black screen and the accessibility lady voice said something about pressing this, that it the other but I still can't see anytime on the screen

After trying every single step watching about 10 videos and reading a 5 page on Reddit about how to do a health restore on the hard drive and SFC /scannow the problem was the DisplayPort I put in a new one and it fixed all

The same thing happened to me I tried restarting and everything I could do but nothing was working, then I realised it just decreased the contrast/brightness to 0 by itself

Another option if ctrl alt del doesnt work press windoes key+R

None of these worked unfortunately. But I did have a Guest account on my laptop which seems to be running flawlessly. Luckily this is primarily a Browser laptop so I’m just going to do a hard reset since I really don’t know what the primary issue is on my main profile.

Last option of restarting the PC 3 times worked for me.

My HDMI was plugged into the Mainboard. After connecting it to the Graphics Card the problem was fixed.
