If you're getting an error message while trying to put code in the console, make sure that you paste it BEFORE you upload the artwork. Inspect your image BEFORE you upload. That fixed it for me, cheers :)

make sure youre on your browser, then right click the image, and click inspect. At the top right you'll see a tab called "console" click on that and paste the necessary code :)@@iiSatoruGojo

If you can find a PNG Gif (transparent) with only your subject like Dancing Pepe. You should be able to drag that to your background in PS

Can't make it work I follow every step but I looks horrible and doesn't sync.

It worked for me but for some reason my central gif (where the png is located) freezes every like 3-4 secs for a moment (half a sec or so) and then re starts the loop any clue of why is this happening?

Don't know how to get the gif to sync with the background

no offense but you wont go far if you cant even figure this out. ps is an image editor, all you had to do is google the alternatives that is free. the only reason you needed a ps is to combine both image, you could do that with most online editor out there unless you want more feature(editing color, contrast, brightness etc etc) then software is your option and again, there's tons of em out there.

This video glosses over a lot of finer details required to make this whole thing work. "Just get your subject and make sure it's on all the layers" ok bud, as someone who hasn't used photoshop before, I have no idea how to do that off the bat.

It does not work for me..even when I type that code in the console, It still say's "You can only upload files less than 5MB in file size". Can someone tell me why is this happening? Please and thanks..

Sounds like your file is still bigger than 5MB. When you are on ezgif and are optimizing your file, make sure it is either exactly 5MB or a little bit less and not 5.02MB, that is already too big. If you need more detailed info on that let me know

Steam doesn't really care about that stuff. Yes, it's morally wrong but the only thing that can happen to you is that you will get in trouble with the author of the artwork. The best way to deal with this (and to make sure you'll be ok) is to contact the author of the art you want to use and ask their permission.

Well I didn't argue or taunt him I just gave my opinion maybe you're right that I'm slow but I still managed to make an artwork from his video but it took alot of time due to low details and I think that other people also agree with me because I got couple of likes and it someone usually likes a comment when he most likely agree with someones opinion.... you need to type in the console before putting the code "allow painting" i believe, then you can do it :) .

do yourselves a favor and avoid the animated one. been at it for about 7 hours now having to step by step figure out things with my own research after starting. videos too rushed, and photoshop has a million tiny different little hidden options and settings that will hinder you from moving forward. its not worth the headache just buy a theme and play games on steam lol
