Imagine you have adjusted the PE three times, because market going up and nearing sold CE. But suddenly if market falls down then you will make huge loss on PE side. If we talk about stoploss trades in strangle, then we can easily make profit in Futures trading based on technical indicators with better probability.

very well explained 👍👍👌. from 1 oct i had sold 5 lost ce till 10 oct loss reached 1 lakh. shifted to next series 15 oct 11800 ce where i recovered 55 k . now 4 lots 12000 nov ce holding loss to recover 45 k till now 15 k plus. i had sold naked calls. worst nightmare, i had to put margin money and more money to shift to nov series. hpoefully will recover all loss till nov end or will shift again to dec series with higher premium and hold. but timewise and stress wise not worth it. now i will sell strangle or iron condor only. learnt my lesson 😒

Once the positional limits are set, can do intraday in the event of directional price shift to cover the losses at one end. This way we need not constantly do adjustments, especially if market is volatile and prone to retracements

Very good strategy and well explained. As you have advised in adjustment with price, always try to sell CE or PE to cover the difference. However, if market reverses, we will have to make adjustment on other side, however we will become in the money on another side very quickly. So should we try and match price exactly or leave little room for adjustment incase market reverse
