Sir in march 2020 nifty touched a low of 7511 which includes a lower circuit also.... you have to understand one thing there is difference between hedging & adjustment in such scenario like 2020 only hedging can save you

INVERTED TRADE ADJUSTMENTS. Sell a strangle with .25 Delta at begining of month.Now let’s take a situation,let’s see that the market starts going up &when it reaches the upper limit of your break even point,at that time square off your put option & you convert this strangle into a straddle.Now suppose the direction which Market has taken still continues (Upward Trending market).That time you square of your next (second) put option & book profit and convert the original strangle into an inverted-strangle. Means since the market has taken a full upward direction & your original calls sold in the first triangle has now become ITM,you sell another ITM strike price PUT option & your original strangle will get converted into an inverted-Strangle.That way You keep on adjusting,The question is when do we do these adjustment? before 10.15 am, after 2.45 pm or in the middle of the day. please revert sir.

Its not done initialy but done at later stage as a part of adjustments , its later converted to ironfly by buying hedges both side

You had said beginners may not try this adjustment, also there is a risk in inverted strangle, please tell us the risk.

I think the risk is when the market falls below 16300 you will loose money fast I think identifying the right trend by studying the market conditions is the key
