    Idogear pants are well made 👍 although they are a bit thin. Proper makes more durable, but heavy pants.

    @@georgewashington7312 I don't mind them but like he mentions they do have that cardboard square feel to them. You could just remove velcro square if it bothers you.

    @@constitutionalcarpenter541 Same with their uniforms, I'm particularly fond of the bdu xtreme style of uniform that they're doing the for atacs company, I just wish they'll eventually do it in other camo patterns, specifically m81 woodland, and multicam tropic.

    Most clothing will. True multicam will minimize it, but most people have something on then will will glow anyway. Gun, holster, sling, helmet, etc. Thanks for the comment, I should have mentioned IR reflectivity. 😀

    @@actualpatriot2977 super expensive stuff that is designed specifically for the military, will be less reflective under NVGs. Unless your gear manufacturer states it is low in IR reflectivity, its probably gonna glow. Nearly all budget brand gear will stand out under nvgs. Some spray paints help

    @@poortac5568 nope. REAL multicam fabric comes NIR treated as default. Genuine Cordura has NIR treatment as well iirc.

    @@actualpatriot2977 real multicam is milspec, so we are saying the sane thing. But there are plenty of things labeled as multicam that are not true milspec. Same as AR15s that are advertised as milspec, when they are not.

    Have you considered getting used US G.I. combat shirts I have one in UCP but I know there’s a lot of OCP ones as well they’re pretty nice You can get them for pretty cheap

    I have, but generally they are more expensive to get one with all the modern features/upgrades. They are generally better quality though.

    @@poortac5568 They are okay. Army issued ACS's are a fitted design and I've seen plenty of them rip around the shoulders down range. The Marine Corp and Navy combat shirts are modeled after Crye/Drifire designs so they are pretty similar to the G3 combat shirts. The Army ACS is okay but the good thing is they are fully flame retardant with rayon material which is a big necessity who fly on aircraft or operate in and out of vehicles.

    I know this is a late response, but I’ve used the USGI combat shirts (the fire retardant one) and they are of the poorest quality for price I’ve ever used. I have 2 rn that I’ve hardly used that are already falling apart. I would not advice their use.

    Would the 5,11 shirt work with the Idogear combat pants, even though they are slightly different shades of color. Could you tell the difference if you have a 5.11 top on and a Idogear trouser on?

    they were very close in color, you wont be able to tell once they have been worn and washed a few times. 👍

    the sleeves are better on the Idogear because of the internal padding. other than that, they are very similar.

    Im 6 foot, 155 pounds, and have an athletic build. The body aspect of both shirts fit snug (like a fitted t-shirt). The sleeves are slightly baggy and slightly short.

    I haven’t tested it, but I imagine they are not fireproof. Most likely they will melt and stick to your skin. You would have to buy Crye Precision or another expensive brand for that feature.
