I just bought a EGO ST1620T String Trimmer and after using up all the included line I bought a 5lb spool of this .095 Black Diamond from all the reviews I've watched. I've used it once and I'm already in love with it. I thought that was a problem with it at first because I never heard the LineIQ feed more line, turn out it just didn't need to.

Did you hydrate the spool? Some people have stated that the Black Diamond in.095 is brittle. I have a corner lot with fencing.

I did not hydrate the line. I find it very strong. I have a lot of fence line as well. I mean there are a lot of good lines on the market but I know a lot of people swear by this.. buy a small spool and try it out..

Hey, great video. I have been hesitant when trying to buy a trimmer line. My echo came with the echo black diamond 0.95. Not sure exactly how good I like it yet, my grass doesn't grow that fast to test it as well as I would like, but I did want to try the 0.105 just to see how that one felt compared to this one. But according to all the things you did, seems to be holding up pretty good. Not sure why some people have negative reviews on the 0.95.

Thanks for watching. Just remember to keep to the specs of the worx.. if it says max line diameter is .65 don’t put anything bigger in it. If you do the motor will get bogged down and not cut very well. I hope the new line helps!! Please like and subscribe..

Ive had mine for years. It’s the smallest model and lightest one echo has. I love it. In all honesty I dont feel gas is more expensive than an electric unit. I have an acre lot and only go through 2 gallons of mix gas a year for that one trimmer…I haven’t doubt anything that really Boggs mine down. I have a few electric tool but a blower, trimmer and chainsaw are not one of them. As battery voltage goes down so does the power. My gas trimmer has full power until the last drop in the tank.. I see how the electric is good for your needs though..

Hello I've been trying to find the best .155 line for my trimmer mower with no luck all of the reviews say they break easily, do you have any recommendations?

Thanks for watching. I love this line In .95. I looked it up and Echo makes this line up to .105. There are very few lines that go up to .155. You can always buy a small spool of this in .105 and see how it does. The smaller diameter will allow the head speed to be higher plus how well this line cuts it may just work…? What line do you use now?
