I pull the top layer and then spray with WP Chomp wall paper remover. Works great. I can do about 120 square feet an hour.

Does the steamer get rid of the glue too?

Unfortunately these steamers don't have extension poles that allow you to access higher areas, like on a stairwell

How many hours does it take to do an average 4 meter by 4 meter bedroom for example?

Wallpaper stripping solution diluted in warm water. Paper tiger wall paper perforater. Razor blade scraper.

Just use a damp sponge or rag. 👍🏼

Does this work on really old wallpaper? I assume they used a different type of adhesive

Dish soap in hot water sprayed on and left for 5 - 10 minutes and scrape it. Amazing
