Can I plug it into a wall outlet? Instead of using batteries?

Good question. Unfortunately I don't think so. I think its just the 4 AA batteries that it runs off of.

Do you know what the largest interval that can be used is?

i think you can do hourly interals and you can set a daily schedule for it to turn on/off

mini sd card? either you are mistaken it as micro sd card or this camera is too ancient.
