I would’ve thought that Cradily was gonna be part of this roster, since the Rock Typing would help with its Fire Resistance

Cradily is a great option for the endgame, but you don't have access to it until after you beat Flannery

Hey Mystic nice video mate, I really love him too as well as most of not all the grass starters too. I had a thought for a video you could do, you ranking the Pokemon types you really like to the ones you least like. It can for whatever reason but it would be cool to see what you most like to least 😁

You should do a video about when to evolve certain pokemon. Pokemon that evolve via trade or stone and what level you should evolve them at based on moves they can learn and the differences between different generations.

Gen-3 Hoenn playthroughs for me don't seem to go well without major grinding into overleveling if I start with Treecko as my starter (other than Roxanne), but breloom and Cacturne seem to always find (at least temporary) spots in my teams starting rotation during the course of the run! Plus, it's fun to use Tropius as an HM-slave with: #1. flash; #2. rock smash; #3. strength; and #4. Fly

I did this! Only difference is I used Cradily instead of Bellossom. It was fun to be fair. Hardest gym for me was the flying gym but it wasn't as hard as i thought. Currently doing a poison team on Lets Go Eevee

opinion: if you made this team for OR or AS then you get the benefit of having mega sceptile and a strong Dragon type right when you meet steven past Fortree. AND in Gen 6, Lombre DOES get Bubblebeam and if you overlevel, it learns Raindance at 37 to help with sunny day on Flannerys Torkoal. if you ask me, the easiest way to painlessly beat flannery is with AS and having an overleveled Lombre. if i were to do this, id go with Sceptile, Ludicolo, Cradily, Cacturne, Breloom, Roserade. youd have an easier time beating Flannery than Winona. you CAN teach your newly evolved Ludicolo ice beam in Sea Mauville (unfortunately you need Dive. but Ice Beam can help with Drake if you dont want to risk your mega Sceptile). if you want to take the time, you can also play at the game corner for icebeam in emerald. your best way to deal with flannery would be with rock slide. unfortunately, you have to go ALL the way to pacifidlog and figure out the routes tide puzzle but without Fly you are absolutely screwed if you mess it up. otherwise, Cradily DOES have ancient power. but if you DO get rock slide then Cradily Sceptile and Breloom can all learn it. heres the thing: in Gen 6, TMs are multiuse. before XY, you can only use a TM once. now, the alternative to beat Flannery/winona is teach your grovyle/Breloom Rock tomb and hope it hits and OKOs Flannerys pokemon. for winona, an alternative is to just go to Lilycove and buy blizzard in both games. i will say in full confidence that flannery and Winona will be your roadblocks with a grass type team in ORAS/Emerald. the only argument i can make for Emerald is if you want Shiftry AND ludicolo, you can get both Lombre and Nuzleaf on 114. but id say having Lombre with rain dance/bubblebeam/icebeam/blizzard and having Cradily for coverage against Winona in AS. now, i kinda put Cacturne in there because it was a grass type that came to mind and you can get Roserade in ORAS, but you CAN catch a tropius or a Gloom to get Vileplume/Bollosom. but all this is just me.

Man I love Hoenn’s grass types so much. Ludicolo and Breloom will always be my boys. I’d recommend leech seed, stun spore or giga drain on Breloom to anyone trying this team out. Fingers crossed Tropius gets its well deserved mega in Legends Z-A too.

I usually dont breed in normal playthroughs, but when I choose Blaziken I always want a Ludicolo too. I breed it with marill with water gun to make it more useful earlier on

I find this way of playing through the game very fun. Currently playing in mode: play through 6 times with 6 different teams. No Pokemon may be used twice

Please do best team for x and y steel types

Shiftry best attacks Extrassensory faint attack, bullet seed, giga drain. Lombre learns megadrain. And dark type is special in emerald.

One of my favourite ever teams was my grass team from alpha sapphire. Sceptile Breloom Ludicolo Cacturne Cradily Whimsicott (Shout out to Roserade who was in there right up until I got Whimsicott, towards the end of the game, and Tropius my HM slave)

Sadly you can't go to the desert before beating Flannery, so it's only handy against Winona (and arguably Glacia)
