Let me take a shot at it: Empoleon Gyarados Gastrodon *or* Quagsire Tentacruel Vaporeon Azumarill (Huge Power) Bibarel (HM mule) Pelipper (Fly/Defog mule) Octillery (alternative) That’s my guess, anyway. Certainly the team I would run.

I wish Absol had better stats. Just give it the 115 special attack and speed from its Mega form, but keep the 130 attack from its base form, and it's fine.

In some games best teams for certain types are destined to be impossible such as dragon for instance or even ghost since earlier gens those types barely exist

I will never understand game freak making dark type a special typing, but giving that typing to A LOT of physical attacking Pokemon

Very good video, I propose best Psy type only team in Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green. I propose best Plant type only in Pokemon Emerald. I propose best Combat type only in Pokemon Platinum.

Emerald grass-type only: Sceptile, Ludicolo, Breloom, Shiftry, Roselia, Tropius

This was a good team and next do best team for x Fairy type only.

Unova electric types only. BW2 specifically since there's more options like Magnezone, Ampharos, Jolteon etc

My Gen-3 playthrough Absol's usually have the moveset of: #1. Shadow ball; #2. Aerial ace; 3. Iron tail; and #4. Swords dance Hold Item: spell tag and I try to get a Jolly nature Absol if possible... Any of my Gen-3 playthroughs with Cacturne have a typical moveset of: #1. Needle arm; #2. Feint attack; #3. Spikes; and #4. Leech Seed/growth Hold item: miracle seed Nature: modest (if possible, of course). Those are my favorite dark type pokemon in my Hoenn runs!!

This reminds me both mono dark nuzlock runs of Flygon HG and PokeRux, they really suffer on the early game

while i get it for the challenge but i feel like making this team wouldve been cleaner if it was ORAS. since in gen 6, TMs arent single use, you have megas for absol sharpedo and sableye and past Sinnoh, Dark type is Physical so you can get more out of moves like Crunch and gen 6 has moves like night slash, which was introduced in gen 4.
