I've been watching your box wedge videos and starting thinking that a box wedge on the end of my skid steer splitter would be great for the BIG rounds. You know much more about both, what are your thoughts? i might try a retrofit on my skid steer.

Hello, How long does it take to get one to New England these days, I have an Kubota SVL75 and a big wood boiler and a wood pile that looks just like yours, this is probably the right attachment but 20 ton seems smallish and what's the stroke 24? and what the stroke on the 524? thank you, Jeremiah

Will this work with a Vermeer ATX 850? It can do 20GPM and 2900 psi.

I think I might have to sell my Powerhorse wood splitter. I could really use this skid steer splitter for my boiler wood. 👍

How tall is the wedge on this model? I’m assuming a 60hp Kubota tractor with 2500lbs of lift at the pond could handle this. This looks perfect for breaking down the big boys for further splitting. Have you ever considered mounting the beam parallel to the front tires? It gives a lot better view on a tractor, I built one years ago but the wedge was too small to be useful. I’m sure the tractor market is small compared to the skid steers. I wish I could get your beam, cylinder, and 4 way wedge setup, then adapt it for multiple configurations on a tractor.

It will likely work fr it. The wedge is 18" tall. I will try it out for you next time we build one. Just bought an l6060. You are right about the tractor. It woud be really hard to see the splitter from the cab

Andrew, would it be worth while to make a attachment like this for mini skidsteers? I have a Vermeer 925tx I believe it is a 28hp diesel and it does have a high flow for it as well. Lust curious if it would even be worth the effort on a smaller machine.

I converted a 3pt splitter to work inverted on my Dingos. Works great.

No...I think it would be to heavy. Call chris at Wolfe ridge. His splitters are quite a bit lighter and will work well in that application.

Standard is 24" we can custom build it to whatever you like

How about one for a mini excavator

I think if you're shoppin you owe it to yourself to check both out. The ss524 would work best for you.

@@termitedave5356 yep. Give cheis a call over at Wolfe ridge. Their inverted splitters are quite a bit lighter and would be better suited for your application.

no we don't do them on a 3 point
