Hi Kimberly, I am a RN so just a warning that if you marinate raw chicken in the Curry Sauce, then the Marinade has to be discarded! It’s considered contaminated due to Raw Chicken (any raw meat) & will be contaminated with Salmonella since it was marinading Raw Chicken. You can get very ill by reusing the marinade. Sounds like a great recipe though! Somewhat a Thai Recipe.

Azelaic acid also minimizes, wrinkles fine lines, it also brightens the skin and improves the texture. PennSmith just did a video about azelaic acid. I’m 69 years old and I just started using it about a month ago.

Kimberly, I love most all the The Ordinary products I've been using over the past 5 years. Just last year I exchanged my Vit. C. for Copper Peptides and haven't looked back. For some reason, over the past year I've grown into a sensitivity to Vit. C. So glad you put this out now as I know their anniversary sale is coming up soon. BTW, I agree, Florida looks good on you!!! :).

Kimberly, I first tried the Ordinary products based on your recommendations. The Buffet is one of my holy grails...it makes my heavily textured skin smooth as glass. Thanks for letting us know about the name change. The lash serum is too harsh on my lids, it's the only Ordinary product I've had trouble with. Hyaluronic Acid and Argirilene are part of my routine daily. Thanks for the great info and hugs from Michigan!

Your hair looks great! When I was a kid in the 80s and a teen in the 90s. For skincare, I used Olay Moisturizer with SPF 15 because of my grandmother. She used it and used their night cream. For facewash I used Olay cleanser or Dove bar soap and Witch hazel toner! Not much of a skincare routine and now I know I needed an SPF 30 or greater for my face and body! I learned not to sleep in my makeup at a young age! 😊

I used to use a ginger based perfume from origins. It was so uplifting and sweet. Very energizing. I still love Origins brand skincare and makeup. Ginger is so good for digestion, motility, anxiety, nausea, traveling and morning sickness. I used to also use the ginger throat lozenges and occasionally drink the reeds ginger ale, which contains real and natural ginger. I'll have to start grating it and cooking with it more. I try to use garlic too, fresh or powder form. That chicken recipe looked great. And liked that you didn't use soy sauce in it....🌞

Kimberley! What a amazing lady you are. Thanks for sharing how you funded your ventures/adventures/travels. I wondered! I’ve had a similar yet different journey to you and always with an eye to the finance and worked wherever I moved to. Just moved to Spain from uk and not able to work (visa restrictions) so live on state pension. It causes low level anxiety in the background of life but like you I’m a (lone) woman who seems to need to push myself out of complacency = comfort zone. It’s an adventure. It’s living a life! It’s not the easy option but it’s living and learning and continuing to grow…and people wherever you go seem so kind and helpful mostly. If you ever ever want to come to Spain to visit I would gladly have you as my guest. We have a lot in common and I’m your age.

I’ve had a similar experience. I’ve only tried three items but each either made my skin break out in a rash or it wouldn’t soak in or dry down, just sit on top of the skin and feel sticky. I was disappointed that The Buffet was the one that caused a rash because so many people love that one. I ended up giving it all away.

Hello Kimberly. I believe you were the person who introduced me to the Ordinary/NOID products, ( before NOID left the umbrella of the DECIEM line). I'm grateful. With that said, I wondered if you could advise on how some, or all, of these products "act" under primers and foundation. Personally. I've experienced' "pilling" on ordinary products. I have tried to adjust amount of serum I apply, which has worked for some of my tinted moisturizers. Any words of wisdom?😊

Hey Kimberly, I'd drive two hours to my hair dresser too. Sure am glad I don't have to tho. You've gotten me going on the Ordinary. I've had three chemical peels in the last three years ($150 each time I went) and they sure do take off that old skin, but you look pretty bad for 10 days. I am trying some of products you recommend so maybe I won't have to go through that pain again. I have always taken care of myself, but not like you're doing so I'm spending my $$ on products to try to side step a chemical peel. I love your youtube and you are pretty special too. Love hearing about your travels etc. I am totally NOT a traveler, but like to hear about it. Glad you're doing this for us over 50, 60, 70? Yup, it's all good!! Hugs from Arizona.

I love the ordinary but stopped using it when I had my eyebrows waxed and because I was using the “acid” products my skin was too sensitive to the traditional eyebrow wax. I’ve been afraid to use it since and have not had my eyebrows waxed since then and boy do they need that. I’m too blind to tweeze them, too But one thing that has developed is “milia” and collagen bumps. I’d love to know how to get rid of both of those

Great info, Kimberly. Florida life-style is agreeing with you; although it’s been so very humid over the past month! 😮. I use some of the Ordinary Products, based on your prior recommendations. They are great, affordable products. I like to try different brands and am using Beauty Pie, Maely’s , Biossance to name a few. I seem to find that I need to rotate products to see the best continued results. Always enjoy “spending” time with you. See you next time! 😊

@@colomtns745 Hi, I tried their B-Glossy serum. It’s specifically made to target signs of age on your neck or anywhere you have issues. I really like it - I use 3 pumps on my neck and chest area 2x’s each day. I think I see results. On my 2nd bottle. Must say, their advertising is a bit over the top in my opinion, but not really offensive. I thought I remembered you using that, but might be mistaken. Have a good day!

Kimberly, azelaic acid is also used for people with rosacea and it helps calm the skin and the redness from it. Since incorporating the buffet with copper, I stopped using Vit C because it does more than Vit C has ever done to my skin. Outstanding product! I definitely need to try that moisturizer. Thank you for another great video.

One of the other beauty KZread's I follow and her husband sold their home and everything else, are living on cruise ships for a while. It's been several months, but I'm not sure how long they plan on their adventures. Sounds like fun but I'm too much of a home body, and I can't leave my Dixie! She's up to about 75-80 lbs. so I don't think I could sneak her in any where!💋❤

What a cute beginning! Love The Ordinary!!!! Have you ever considered laser treatment for your eyes or face? I'm not into botox or fillers but I'm curious about lasers. I use nearly all of those best sellers and my esthetician said between that and tretinoin, I'm feeding my skin all the right things. I LOVE the Argereline! No more crows feet or 11s! I haven't used my eyelash serum consistently. I am scared of the aha/bha serum. I have it but I've never used it because I'm scared. I don't want to peel my face off! Thank you for this "moderate" dive into The Ordinary. You really nailed it! Last but not least, I've had the same stylist for 30 years and I don't know what I'll do when she retires. Your stylist is fabulous, too! Jenny did a great job.

Don't be afraid of the aha/BHA "peel"! When used on DRY skin it can have a bit of a tingle (which my brain translate to "itch" 😆), and you won't injure yourself by using it. You can start out by having it on your skin for just 5 mins to get a sense of it, instead if the whole 10. The skin feels so very soft when you rinse with lukewarm water, pat dry and apply moisturizer. It's made quite a difference in my 60-plus skin!

@@leneskov5184 That would be a great idea but I don't get callouses on my feet. I'm very fortunate that way. I get pretty grossed out when I see how much skin comes off of some feet when I'm sitting close to someone while I'm getting a pedicure. Thank you for the suggestion! I'll try it on my face, just not for a long time.
