I see a dermatologist every six months as I have a regular problem with basal cell skin cancer. My dermatologist is a MD and also has a PhD in microbiology, his advice is to wear sunscreen. I do prefer mineral sunscreen, love DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen.
Why I started with you way back when you were traveling across country heading to SC - you are always down to earth and bring products that are reasonable and you have tested yourself. Thx
I like your 1, 2, 3 system. Much easier to follow. Brightener, nourisher, retinol, nourisher.
Thank you for simplifying! It definitely can be overwhelming as to what you truly need and in what order. Also, you are SO right about taking pictures along the way. I actually forgot I had taken a very early on pic and when I compared it to a current, I was BLOWN away by the difference!
Love this video, helped me so much to understand when to use products and in the right order
This is the video I’ve always been hoping to see from someone. Thank you for the great info!
This was your very Best Skin Care Video. I learned so much and I am saving this for sure .. Thanks Kimberly😊
As someone who needs to start a routine, but has NO IDEA, this video was a lifesaver! Thank you!
Thank you so much for making it so simple!
Thanks Kimberley as always you come up with easy tips for us looking forward to your next video ❤
Thank you so much for this helpful video! The array of products is overwhelming so I really appreciate this information. I love your channel!
Kimberly, you are an angel for making this helpful & informative video! Thank you so much!❤
I love this video! As someone who went a little crazy (ok I have enough skincare products to open my own store) buying skincare products, I appreciate the "this is how you actually build a starter routine."
Thank you Kimberley, I've watched your every video since you began on KZread. Made my own Vit C after your recipe, bought all the devices you use and am so grateful. A,B,C was such a helpful tip that I've used every day since you first mentioned your skincare routine. THANK YOU
This was very helpful - I was just pulling out and looking at 3 different serums in my stash and saying what goes when - great informational morning, enjoy the gym!! Thx again
Great video Kimberly! I think covering the serums was brilliant because that’s the most confusing part in the beginning. Thanks so much!!!
Hi Kimberly, I feel the same about sunscreens. I've never been a believer. I am 67, live in sunny southern California, and in the sun all the time.
Thanks for simplifying things. With some influencers I scroll past their messages because it takes so long to get to the point.
Thank you so much Kimberly for the easy soin care update!
Thank you so much for sharing this information!👍This is going to help me with my skin care routine.Simple and uncomplicated yet effective😊💖
One of your most helpful videos!! Thank you for simplifying skin care. Absolutely useful.
Wonderfully helpful Kimberly, thank you!
Thank you Kimberly, you made it easy to follow.
Excellent video Kimberly! Still loving the ordinary and Iunik you introduced me to in the spring 🌱. I agree 💯 with you about sunscreen. I've not used for years. We need vit D. Sunscreen blocks. No seed oils here...no burning 🥵.
Awesome video Kimberly!! I have been following you for some time now and look forward to spending Sunday mornings with you. Thank you!
Thank you for the well organized presentation providing multiple options and prices. I know you have tried many many things over the years and am especially happy that you covered some good affordable pre-prepared Vitamin C options as I am not one to make my own. 🤓
Thank you for that breakdown. People know I follow you and they ask me what to get. I’m sharing this video with them
Love your comments on sunscreen, I totally agree!!
Thanks for sharing this useful information Kimberly. ❤️
Out of all the products you mentioned, ION Support has been a game changer for me. I use the spray every single day!
You look beautiful and so happy, you’re glowing! 😊
I have been using Go Pure products for the 3 years and I see a change in my skin. Its worth it. They give you a step by step guide and what to use.
I've been using sunscreen daily since adding tretinoin to my routine. Prior to this, I NEVER used it unless I was planning a day at the beach. I have to admit my skin has improved significantly with the combination. Your skin looks great, so who am I to judge 😉 For me, I'll stick with the suncreen.
Thank you for the video. It was very informative.
This was awesome! Easy night and morning routines and five brands to choose from. I am over one product from here, one product from there…… I have a life.❤
So agree with you on sunscreen.
Years ago you featured Maelove and I really like some of their products. I will try some of the cleansers you mentioned. Thanks
Thank you for all your wonderful videos as I am 67 and am starting to try the Ordinary C and the aci peel. Heart heart heart!! - Karen
The ordinary is great. I use sunscreen everyday. Thank you for keeping us company !
Really helpful! Thanks so much
Holy WOW!! Highly informative and appreciated video! Thank you Kimberly 😊
Great video. Im 69 and have looked after my skin since i was 14 and I followed my mums advice all those years ago not to use soap on my face and always use a moisturizer...only Ponds Cold Cream back in those days. I have advanced my skincare as the years have gone by and love the serums and great skincare routines. I try and use drugstore products and find great results. Im on the borderline with sunscreen and use Eucerin mineral sunscreen on my face as Retinal is part of my nighttime routine but don't use it anywhere else. Im like you I cover up most of the time. Im in the UK and some products recommended are not available here. Love your channel.
Thank you for this information.😊
This is a most helpful and amazing video ever. Tks so much. Just recently discovered your channel and absolutely love ❤️ it. Tks so much .
Hi Kimberly, will you please share what lip color you’re wearing today? Thank you!!
Excellent! An in-depth video on your deep dive into sunscreen would likely be very popular.

Hi Kimberly. Thanks for the awesome information once again. As always I love listening to you. God bless you in the Villages. It Sounds wonderful!
Terrific video, Kimberly! Ive been following you for about 3 years and your recommendations are spot on! My current favs are from GoPure Beauty thanks to you!❤

I love that line!
Thanks!!
Love love Ordinary cleanser too. Well, all of Ordinary products are good, I have bought the most expensive to the affordable and I also found the lessor wins over expensive products.
I ordered the moisturizer you use last night! I’m excited to try it! My holy grail has been unavailable for months and I need a new favorite!! Is there a particular line of the three that plays nicely with the moisturizer or all three work? I almost bought the iunik beta glucogen serum as well, but maybe should try the brighten tighten nourish route first. You are so very kind to us and we love you!
This is such great info for beginners. There is so much out there it’s overwhelming. I’ve actually now trying to scale back what I use and using up what I have before buying anything else. Have you done any research on Defenage
Thank you Kimberley what an informative video 🙌✨🌹
I have used Albolene as a first step for taking off makeup for years. It cost less than $10.00 for a 12 oz jar that lasts for over six months!!! I use most other products that you talked about! I love skincare!!!!

I love albolene!
Hi Kimberley thank you so much for this informative vlog. I wondered if you had ever tried bakuchiol as an alternative to retinol? ❤
Thank you!
Great information. I have just ordered The Ordinary's Niacinamide, and already use their vitamin c, retinal and hyaluronic acid. Sounds like I have been doing the wrong order of products lol. I can't wait to see results. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. 😊
Great information, Kimberly! One of my faves. :)
Thanks,I follow you closely and enjoy every presentation!
Would you be willing to do a video trying InstaTox by Serious Skincare? Thanks!
This is one of the best skincare videos I've seen...❤
For me Clinique's Take the Day off is the best makeup remover I'ver ever used. I've tried many others but nothing for me works as good. I also love they have a travel size. That Beta Gluten Moisturizing cream is fabulous a little goes a long way it's amazing. I have so many products which are all from the different products you mentioned, I need to just stick to one to see what works best instead of using one product for A, another for B & C. One thing I miss is for awhile you have only done once a week videos on Sunday. Miss your mid week videos.
Thank you Kim. I didn’t know you weren’t doing sunscreen anymore. I must’ve missed a video. I’ll go back and look for it.

Same!
I never use sunscreen either unless I go to the beach or a prolonged day in the sun. I am 66 like you and love skincare and makeup since I was 14. I worked as an esthetician and loved it! I like all your videos!
Hi Kimberly! I look forward to your weekly newsletter and visiting your channel! I was wondering if you can recommend something for my sagging eye lids? I want something that will puff them up but I don’t want to spend too much money on it. Thanks!
Thank you very very much!!! 😊
Kimberly have you done a KZread on aging eye care? I love your posts!
Hi Kimberly - fantastic video! One question - is it better to put the Nourisher (Vitamin B) on after the Tightener or Brightener, or before? Thanks!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! 😊
I’ve used dermatology tinted sunscreen. I currently have a new supply of Thd Ordinary products but I’m going to get that Needless durum!!
Great info! Could you please do a video on sunscreens. I use one only because so many people say don't go out without it. I finally found one that doesn't give so much shine in my face as I do have tzone shine. However, I would love to eliminate it! Thanks much love to you ❤
Hi Kimberley could I please ask what lipstick you are wearing? It’s so pretty 😊
Hi Kimberly, I enjoy your videos very much and learned interesting stuff. I am on board with you with sunscreen, though I use a mineral one for a beach day, but never on a daily basis. And I use the same cleansing, the best and very affordable…
Great video - I have used timeless serums now for a number of year and a few years ago you did a DIY for vitamin c serum with Ferulic. Do you still think this is OK
This video made my day…. Thanks much! I can finally use serums in the correct way😊 Am wondering if you have tried or reviewed an under eye concealer named Fiera? It is something I see on my instagram feed and am curious because I really need to find an answer for my older eyes. Do you have a favorite? Again…. Thank you for your videos!
I'll be trying the IUNIK products because my skin is sensitive & is screaming for help 😂. Praying it'll work out. Thanks Kimberly❣️
I'm looking at the Go Pure line. They have a Set that includes the Brighten and Firm you recommend but had the Dramatically Dewy Serum instead of the Boost you mentioned. If I get this set would I apply the Dewy Serum just before the moisturizer? I enjoyed this video. It made a lot of sense.
I'm thinkong you're hoping this is the last skincare video you do for a while, lol! It must be challenging gaving people wanting you to tell them exactly what to do. But you're quite gracious about it and the information is terrific! As with many folks here, I have been following you since you lived in your sweet, tranquil apt. In Lake Tahoe, and must say it's bern wonderful seeing you become so, so happy in Florida! What a journey you've been on! ❤
Thank you for sharing. Love from South Africa xoxo
Enjoy your emails and videos. Just an FYI, The Ordinary has a wonderful option to email them your skin concerns and they will send their recommendations for a routine.
Thank you for getting back to skin care :)
Great video Kimberly, TFS. I love drmtlgy, ordinary, biossance vit c with squalane ( my daughter has sensitive dry skin, Ill be purchasing the line for sensitive skin for her). Happy Fall 🍂🍁🍂🍁 cooling down in NY, Fla is still warm, enjoy the weather 🍁🍂
Hello Kim, I was all excited to try the Go Pure Serum. I received it yesterday and started with the evening routine using the Hydrate and Firm Serums. A couple of hours later my neck and face were itching. This morning my face and neck are red with bumps. This has to be an allergic reaction.
I like the way you framed this, with brightening, firming and nourishing. Thanks for devoting thought to those of us with sensitive, reactive skin. I love the IUNIK brand too. My sensitive skin has reacted to formulations of ascorbic acid, retinol and niacinamide at different times in my skincare journey of the past 2 decades. I just wanted to reinforce to my fellow sensitives that no matter how good an ingredient is for the skin, particularly for anti-aging, if it irritates our skin it is making our skin worse over time. Irritation is one of the great aging factors. It is hard when you hear people talk about these wonderful products and effect on their skin. Here are some things that I’ve learned over the years, thru my sensitive skin. Ascorbic acid has some solid research behind it for brightening/reducing hyperpigmentation, as an antioxidant, and potentially helping build collagen. The c-derivatives, like THD or ascorbyl glucoside, have less solid research but are more stable and probably less irritating. I like how Kimberly highlighted the brightening. If you find vitamin c irritating maybe look for a serum for hyperpigmentation with a combination of ingredients, like alpha arbutin, Kojic acid, tranexamic acid, licorice etc Retinoids (retinol, retinaldehyde and retinoid acid) are probably the best researched of all skincare ingredients and help the skin on multiple levels. As you move up in % and from retinol to retinal/retinaldehyde to prescription they become increasing potent and irritating. There’s pretty good evidence that even lower strength retinols can make a difference over time. If the only thing you tolerate is a .3% retinol 3x/wk, just stick with it. Many “drugstore”retinols are .2-.3%. If a brand doesn’t tell you the %, I assume it is that or lower. Start slow and low. Our skin can become accustomized to retinols but won’t if we use to high a percentage to often. Start with a low percentage maybe 1-2x/wk. The retinoid “cousins” like Granactive retinol don’t have as much research but again seem to be more stable and less potentially irritating. Retinoids have the best research for collagen building but there is some that glycolic acid may also help build collagen and polyhydroxy acids may help minimize collagen loss. Glycolic acid can be too much for some sensitive skin but PHAs are exfoliants recommended for sensitive skin and might be worth looking into for exfoliation and collagen protection especially if you don’t tolerate retinol. Niacinamide is another great multi-benefit ingredient. Most of the research showing those benefits has been at 2-5%. I find the serums at 10% irritating, but everyone will be different. Don’t feel you are missing out with a lower percentage if you also find 10% to high. There are a lot of toners, serums and moisturizers that have 2-5% niacinamide (B3) so you may not need a dedicated Niacinamide serum (that are usually 10%). You might want to find one with a mix of ingredients with 5% niacinamide or lower. If you want to reduce products just use one of the many moisturizers w niacinamide, like ceravepm. It can be used am and pm. From the comments, I sense SPF is controversial in this community but I just want to share my experience as someone who does want the protection but has sensitive skin. I have never been able to tolerate any of the sunscreens with organic/chemical sunscreen filters from the US. They are old filters, smell bad and give me irritated skin and headaches. I do tolerate the mineral/physical filters but they can feel heavy or drying to me, I’ve had to kiss a lot of frogs to find sunscreen I can deal with. Just this year, I finally tried the Korean sunscreens that so many KZread channels tout. It is a totally different experience than sunscreens with filters developed in the 70s and 80s and really does feel more like putting on a light unscented moisturizer, no headaches and no irritation with their chemical filters. Many are very reasonable priced as well. I’m using one from Beauty of Joseon now, I’m going to try iUNIK next. Although they can’t be sold in the USA since they aren’t FDA approved, they can be ordered and sent here. I used yesstyle.com, there are many other sights. Wow, I started this and just kept going. I hope someone with sensitive skin either finds it validating and helpful on their skincare journey

Ulta MD makes a very good sunscreen that is not irritating to the skin. I too have very sensitive skin and went through many products before I used Ulta MD. For someone who has had several skin cancers removed, I would not be without sunscreen.
Your skin looks great and you look very young. I listen to your advice.
Kimberly, how do you take the Ion gut support? 3 teaspoons 3 different times of the day? I can never remember to take it like that.
Hi Kimberly👋❤ ...just checking in. Liked this, but havent actually watched yet - yet I know it's good👍 Other than the a.m. vitamin C, the Retin-A (if you've mentioned it) - I'm doing something vastly different, as far as a.m./p.m. serums. That said, Ive followed your skin routines long enough to know you are definitely on the right track. (Except, perhaps your take on SPF.) Yah, some are bad news - that doesnt mean all SPF is bad news. I have to say I dont agree - at all - with Ion's 'extremist' (imo) founder. Plus...just love watching your channel on a Sunday morning is a fun treat for me😊
Kimberley you look younger and younger every week. You look great👍👍
beta gluca, ordinary has tube. its do fab with betaglucan besides cosrx snail
Thank you for this video. One question please - the routine for the morning routine would be Cleanse, Brighten, Nourish, Moisturize correct?
Question in what order and when do you use exfoliators masks and toners? What order? When?
What color lipstick are you wearing? Pretty!!
Thanks for sharing your fave products from The Ordinary. I love the Ordinary's Resveratol + Furlic Acid and it's Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% Serum (formerly Buffet + Copper Peptides). I think copper peptide serum probably falls under the "nourisher" banner in your system, but it's a darned good product that gives big bang for the buck.
Do you have a travel skincare?
I think I’ll try the Iunick first since I’ve never done the ABC. My skin is sensitive I’d rather build up to ir
Which brand do you use 🤓 I have been watching you for years - Thanks for the great videos!
Hi, enjoyed this video very much. My question is ... can the needless serum be used along with retinal or should they be used on different nights?
Another local company I have just tried for body/lotion/serums is Beauty From Bees. Safe for skin and environment, quality ingredients and a lot of care and research gone into their family business. Bonus for me: they are based in Canada...not cheap, but not ridiculously priced either. For Americans, a bargain! Best body lotion I have found, I think ever. I use the body creme on my face as well, the body serum is delicious. I believe they make unfragranced as well but I love the vanilla sunshine.
I would love for you to do a review of biossance!
