Pho. My favourite Vietnamese dish. While in Vietnam, I basically had it for 3 meals a day. Learnt to make it for myself, here in Australia. So easy, just takes a long time to make the broth.

@@kunkun2834 ủa bạn mình nói sai điều gì,bạn ấy nói đó là tô phở tuyệt nhất bạn đó thấy trong đời mình thấy sai,từ nguyên liệu tới cách làm rất bth chả có gì gọi là tuyệt nhất,mình nói bạn ấy đến vs nơi khai sinh ra của phở để thưỡng thức thì có gì sai,mất thiện cảm,toxic,nếu là người sành ăn phở bạn phải chú ý tơi từng chi tiết thịt nạm, tái,gầu,gân, bò viên,rau ăn kèm có đúng điệu chưa,thứ mình muốn nói là cho mọi người biết 1 tô phở ngon tuyệt nhất là phải ỡ việt nam với bánh phở tươi chớ không phải phở của của người nước khác làm gắn cái mác phở việt nam,trước khi phê phán hay công kích người khác hãy xác định rõ mục đích của của ngta như thế nào,yêu nước nhưng yêu bằng cái đầu và kiến thức chớ không phải bằng tầm nhìn hạn hẹp nha bạn.

@@anhquocle8937 mình đồng ý với bạn. Mình thấy cái công thức nấu phở này rất là kì. Mình k đồng ý gọi cái món này là Phở. Chỉ là món ăn kiểu mix fusion thôi. Còn muốn thấy best of phở phải về quê hương của phở thưởng thức. Chẳng có gì là toxic cả. Nhiều bạn cứ làm quá lên vậy.

The ingredients used in this broth are used for Bun Bo, Pho Bo and Pho Ga. With Bun Bo, we have beef and pork (legs), the only herb used is lemongrass. With Pho Bo, except chilli and lemongrass, most of the herbs are used. There are some I can't recognize what they are, but those placed together in one container and cinnamon, ginger and big red onions are the main ingredients used for Pho Bo. We don't use chickens in Pho Bo though but cook them separately with ingredients used for Pho Bo and named it Pho Ga. Ga is chicken. So, in this broth, we have all three different types of Vietnamese rice noodles put into one: Bun Bo, Pho Bo and Pho Ga.

I've come to believe that Koreans are the masters of spices because of all the different spices that they use in their dishes. I've tried many times to identify the ingredients that they use for these wonderful looking dishes without success. I'm amazed at the preparation that goes into their food. Wonderful visions of good fresh food. Keep them coming.

Looks like coriander seeds, fennel seed, cumin seed, star anise, cloves and fresh ginger at the start. Later add cinnamon bark and lemongrass. Edit: also added black peppercorn and chillies. Edit2: let’s not forget the entire barnyard with the pork bones, smoked chicken and sides of beef. Will say like Tharp though, they’re really not that complex on spices. Indian curries, masalas and chutneys have much more spices as well as any Thai cuisine.

​@@lelalu8452 ​ @Lê La Lu The first batch of spices, along with radishes are more chinese or EA in general. The lemongrass and cardamom are generally SEA spices. The cooking style, especially the onions and beef, along with the final presentation looks vietnamese. I don't know what to call this abomination, as long as its good tasting.

Love Korean street food, mountain hikes,fall foliage, bike paths, beaches, kimchi , ...
