Best Pumpkin Seeds EVER!!!

Well being a southern Boy who loves cooking, I put me own little twist on it and I swear, they turned out GREAT!!!! check it out... this is much more than a cooking video... You guys not only sharing recipes; you are sharing and spreading love as well as smile 😀 Thanks for it!!!
This reminds me of when I was a kid and my parents were still together. I’m 18 now and moved out living alone. It’s my first holiday season alone. This made me feel a bit of the happiness I did around the holidays with my family. Thank you

I love finding really old KZread videos and then seeing that the creator is still going and has millions of followers. Congratulations to you glad your hard work seemingly paid off.
So wholesome. I loved that scene with Sarah’s parents. I know this is like 3 years later, but your content is still being enjoyed. :D
I learned from a local grower here that does the giant competition pumpkins. And we also do float races where you sit in the pumpkin down the river it's loads of fun. Anyway you're supposed to cut the pumpkin on the bottom. It's easier to get the seeds out and if you carve it and set it on the porch you always have a flat surface for your candle and you never have to worry about the lid being in the right spot because you just throw it away.

OMG ... I love this... awesome recipe ... I love Everglades seasoning... y'all are the best
My parents got my husband and I hooked on Everglades Seasoning. They would always bring us home a couple containers every spring. Love it for veggies, meat and pretty much everything. Haven't found anything that really compares. Can't wait to try it with pumpkin seeds.
When we get are pumpkin I'm going to tell my mom to get some Everglade seasoning, because you make some of the best looking meals with it. Y'all are awesome.💯
Great instructions. Great video. Great all-American-family. Thank you!
Bought some Everglades on Amazon and did exactly what you did.....Serving them today in my art gallery today and have got a ton of complements! Thanks!
I start using everglades this week an is amazing thanks Rob & Sara God bless you guys.
I’ve never thought of steaming them with seasoning!!! That’s such a great idea and a great idea to dry them out also! I’m trying it right now!

Been a subscriber for over 8 years and you know… I enjoy watching these older videos just as much as the new ones even if the video footage is a little shaky and it was likely filmed with a cheap digital camera. It’s still the same Rob and Sarah havin fun on a budget!
the fact that I had just carved a pumpkin, and had Everglades in my cabnit it great. Trying this now.
I clicked your video because of your video's thumbnail. My gawd! This recipe is delicious! My local Wal-Mart had Everglades Seasoning so I bought it just to try this pumpkin seed recipe. It is SPOT ON as good as you make it out to be. Perfect crunch and taste!
hey just so you know you can get Everglades seasoning on amazon
I liked that you review it in the end. Thanks!
Thanks Rob, Sarah have always just baked them either the grill or oven but always wind up with split shells in mouth afterwards. I will definitely try your way and will pick up Everglades seasoning next time I pick up Spike
Very cool...it's almost pumpkin time.... Now I can make them with my son this year.... Thank you Sarah thank you Rob and thank you Miss Sarah's mom.... And always father...
I like your back yard, Thanks for the way to do seeds.
Omg!!! You are the man!!! You two are too cute
in my country we just dry them on the radiator (same with sunflower seeds) and then fry them with little bit of oil,but we eat them without the shell.

Gerry Harrington That's awesome!! How did the seeds turn out?! Thanks so much for sharing, it means a lot to us!!
Just bought all 5 varieties for Everglades plus the bbq sauce. Can't wait to try them out. Cost about 30 bucks including shipping from their site for all 6 for the shaker size that Rob is using there.
This is exactly why I’m watching this video- to see how everyone else seasons pumpkin seeds. Everglades. Will have to search this out. Thanks!
I would've never heard of Everglades if not watching this video. I might check it out. You are entertaining to watch on this topic, thanks. Great information.
we live in Florida. I was born and raised here and Sarah was born and raised in Wisconsin, she now lives in Florida with me. We travel a lot and get to see and do a lot. it's a true blessing! thanks, where are you from? ever cook pumpkin seeds?

This is so great! I'm an expat in France bringing some American cheer by way of, well, FOOD! People talk about how French have the best food, but I think we Americans do! We probably couldn't get Everglade seasoning here, but love the process and will try my hand at my own seasoning mixture. Thanks for the recipe!
Wow!! I just tried this recipe today by using true elements raw pumpkin seeds and it was too good. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
I use Everglades on everything and now my friend that visited me loves it and stocks up every time they come to FL!! I don’t know why they don’t spread their business because it’s the best multipurpose season!!
Watched to see if I was missing a cooking trick! You guys are great. They look delicious
I think you too are too cute. I want to thank you for this video because I've seen the videos and tried them but yours was different and the steaming does the trick of course did use Everglades but use just my own seasoning and came out great. but will be ordering it soon. thanks again.
I just made some of these with your recipe! They are awesome! Everglades gives them a great taste!
I didn't have Everglades (I did however, purchase some tonight) we have Pleasoning's here in Minnesota so I tried that with your instructions. WOW!!!!! You were right these are the BEST pumpkin seeds ever!!!! I followed another KZread recipe and, although good, your recipe blew it out of the water....YUM YUM YUM. This will be the only way I make pumpkin seeds from now on. Thank you! Consider me a subscriber!!!!
I do this with my kids every fall. Its out tradition. Love the video
Cute family. Great and thanks for the video.
Naples Florida here. Going to get some of that Everglades seasoning.
Deffinately want to try some of that EVERGLADES
Oh my goodness! I have tried several times to make some pumpkin seeds. This recipe really is the BEST! I ordered the Everglades Spices from Amazon and gave it a whirl. They are delicious! Thanks for the post! For the last 3 years I have been throwing away the seeds of 4 pumpkins but no more.
I just love seeing a man in the kitchen!
I loved this video. I never new you could eat the seeds Inc the shells. I looked at a few videos before yours. I loved yours best...so much fun and seeds are in the oven right now. I live in the UK don't think we have Everglades. Thanks you guys, I'm going to check out your other videos now.
You're the reason I use everglades seasoning on everything including pumpkin seeds!
You guys are adorable and thank you for this video.
Very helpful! I used fresh red jalapeños Greek seasoning and a little bit of garlic powder to spice things up since I don’t have the seasoning you listed but your steam then bake technique worked great!
wow - I have to admit these are some of the best seeds I've had. Bought the spice right off of Amazon. Goes great with my Teriyaki Venison Jerky!

Every fall I look up this video, it was the first one I saw of DMFD. Subscribed and fell in love with the rest of the vids. I would love to try Everglades.
I'm so glad I came across this video I'll have to see if we have Everglades in Texas...
Congrats on 145,000 subs!
Oshkosh! My hometown! Love it :-)

very amazing best thing since slice bread LOL. I smoke alot of meat and everyone ask me all the time what did i use for seasoning. Boy do they run right over to publix. I wish publix sold the rub and cactus dust.
This is just great!, it’s good to see these kind of ideas and also ideas for using the whole pumpkin as well, for pumpkin pie. All these pumpkins should be recycled instead of thrown away.
I live in Appleton Wi and we go to the Little Farmer every year!

I love this video

Ryan Koehler Thank you! Will do!
I grew up with Chris Sebring owner of Everglades Seasoning. I have gotten HOOKED on your show. Since you talk so much about the different flavors that Everglades offers you should do a hunting and or fishing video with Chris. He is a big hunter and fisherman. His new processing facility in Sebring is now on Hwy 66. The sample packs would be great to hand out at the various events you attend . Just a thought.
bought some everglades through amazon for this very purpose. i cant wait til theyre all done!
Are you still giving free samples? I've never heard of it before and I love all kinds of spices
I'm a big fan of deer meat for dinner. keep up the great videos. I wish we had Everglades in South Carolina. but I enjoy your videos.
Looks like we need some everglades over here in NZ!
Everglades is the bomb! I live in Naples. Didn't get to try it until I moved here four years ago. I love it! This sounds really weird...... I pop popcorn using a silicone popcorn popper in the microwave. For seasoning, I use a little bit of refined coconut oil and some Everglades Seasoning! Just pour it in with the coconut oil and mix it up. SERIOUSLY!!!!! :)
I'm from Vietnam. I love to see you guys catch a crocodile, it's amazing, awesome. about cooking pumpkin seeds, I have but by another way. I just put the seeds into the pan with some sand, dry it until it's cooked, take the seeds, break shell and eat it. But we only eat pumpkin seeds on Tet holiday (lunar new year in Asia, and in Vietnam it's called Tet). ^^
Polk/Osceola County dude... Everglades been in my family foe years. .. You KILLED IT WITH THIS RECIPE THANKS.... Goes good With the fresh Specks we caught off Lake Marion
i'm from maryland and we use old bay. cooking it now old bay flavored pumpkin seeds yum
Id love to try it. I have an dry rub that we use on everything here too.
I didn't use Everglades because I couldn't find it anywhere, but I did use your method and pumpkin seeds came out awesome
That looks like a delicious recipe
I ordered some Everglades - had to order from Amazon / not available locally here in Michigan/Wisconsin. I was disappointed to see it's largely flavored by MSG (monosodium glutamate) w/ some garlic, onion & sugar. My favorite discovery for seasoning is the MESQUITE seasoning that COSTCO stores sell (i.e., Kirkland product line). Great, slightly smoky flavor.

hey there Mark, I've spoke to several nutritionists and they all say MSG is not a problem, unless your allergic to it. Everglades makes a low sodium, msg free spice as well, I have never tried it though...
