Personally, I would never live in Quebec as their anti-English laws are over the line and taxes are too high. That also goes for BC until it gets a sensible government and not some crazy lefty/Marxist ideologues. If you can handle the cold weather, Alberta is the best place to live in Canada and then Atlantic Canada.

Everything that you said about Ontario is the opposite. If you uploaded this 8 years ago, it might still be applicable; but not anymore. Ontario & BC have the highest cost of living. Housing & rentals are skyrocketing day by day because of the lack of supply & high demand. It’s not Canada that I used to know 8 years ago.

I have not reached the end of the video but I'm making this comment first because I don't want to be influenced by it. For me the best province is BC hands down but that's because I am Asian and English speaking. I want to say the best city is Vancouver but the economy there isn't great and cost of living has really spiraled in the last 10-15 years. I quite like Victoria or maybe one of the "suburbs" of greater Vancouver. Calgary is pretty high on the list as well. The worst province for me is Quebec. Ok time to watch the video to the end.

Alberta is way more than Agriculture, oil and gas. Also quite a few more cities than just Calgary. Toronto is getting worse every year. People are leaving the city because it is so expensive to live there. Quebec is getting up there with cost of living along with the taxes. Vancouver Island, yes mild in the winter compared to the rest of Canada but jobs are hard to come by which is why a lot of people retire there.

Saskatchewan is not ALL flat. There's an area in the south-west area called the Cypress Hills that has mountains which are of a higher elevation than those in Quebec. Quite a bit of the southern area is hilly and ranching country. There are also valleys like the Qu'Appelle Valley ,north and east of Regina. Northern Sask. is heavy forest with a thousand lakes.

Meanwhile, in Québec, most mountains have between 400 and 600 meters vertical drop, and in some regions like around Québec city and in Gaspésie it's more around 800m to 1000m vertical drop, which isn't small

Summer doesn't seem to follow like all the other provinces. Vancouver Spring time is noticeable in early March whereas the other provinces are about 1 month later. Activities in April starts with Car Free Days where the parts of Vancouver major streets of 10 blocks are for festivals (Vaisacki parade with free food in April, World wide international Dragon Boat races, Taiwanese Festivals, Italian Festival car free day 10 blocks, Greek Festival, Chinatown Festival, Kitsilano Festival, International Festival fire works where 3 different countries compete for the honors to come back next year. Some information ismisleading. Best to check with people who actually live in Canada. Also, spend enough time in any of these places yourself to form your own opinion, especially if you might be considering the possibility of living there. Being a visitor is not the same as being a resident.

BC is extremely expensive to live there. Average rent in Vancouver $2500 a month and that an average apartment nothing special. Even in surrounding areas like Abbotford, Mission fraservalley as it’s called Rents are very high. You won’t get a house under 1/2 million or more. But hey it is beautiful for sure
