SQ's FAs attention to detail, even for non-status holders are where SQ shines. Took SIN-KUL round trip (full 737) few months ago, with dad having med condition with his caregivers in C, me in Y. Was led to my seat even in Y both ways before me informing the FAs if anything's to happen, I would be there. FAs immediately took out a small writing pad and noted it down, then asked if I needed help with putting a small bag to the overhead. Before landing, a FA would dropped by, asked if I needed any assistance upon landing. A wheelchair was checked in, but the word "wheelchair" was never used. FAs are human beings too, no harm smiling, greeting them back and asked how are they. Serving a full 737 must be challenging and tiring, but they did that within 45 min.

I can agree. Singapore Airlines is the top airline for so many reasons, but Qatar and Emirates are both not too far behind.

I fly with Qatar Airways, beautiful service especially flying with Airbus plane but not to my liking when fly back with Boeing which was little bit small.

I did fly Qatar airlines last August. It cannot compete with Korean air. The foods and the looks and professionalism of the crew is way better. The foods of Qatar were spicy and I did not eat two meals. Inside the cabin were stinky maybe because many of the passengers ate spicy foods. I only like their terminal as there is a place we can relax quietly during lay over.

I love TUI Airway and Delta Airlines

Sorry,but business class on Emirates on the 777 is abysmal- for the price of over €3000 -Europe to the Middle East and Asia in a 2-3-2configuration!, which I have had to do!, the crew also agreed with the bad configuration. Luckily I have been lucky and had great crew. Yes, though, the food has quality in business is nothing special. Outrageous! Turkish has also lost the plot re soft produce and service in business class.

I do t know about 1st class but for economy ! Korean airlines was the best. Clean incredible food, nice attendants but what really stood out getting off the plane in Korea there were washrooms everywhere 400 feet going out to the exit. I never seen an airport with so many washrooms. And then when I went to get the wi fi, it was a,ready hooked up. No password, no having to sign in 5 times trying to find it. You are automatically hooked up when you walk off the plane. I can tell somebody was really thinking what would he like getting off the plane. A washroom and wi fi.

This ranking may not fit the taste of all. Not many people like the kind of business suites with 2-2-2 settings when it is compared with 1-2-1 settings. Cathay Pacific as an airline accepting racial discrimination should not continue to own such a high position.

Are they all available in miami,florida?

Honorable mentions that are also VERY GOOD and HIGHLY recommended, British Airways, Air New Zealand, Qantas, KLM, and Lufthansa. And it's not surprising that no US carrier makes this list or my honorable mentions, but they have decent safety records compared what's really out there.

At Eva Air only 2 meals fron Toronto to Taiwan. We are hungry & complaining. At Taiwan Airport no choice of western food...😅

Worst experience in Emirates in Oct,2018.It was huge jumbo from Dubai to Heathrow, plane was about to fall near Doha which was due to mishandling of lady English captain engaged in fun activities with co-pilot in state of drunk.Even the crew were rude,they were enjoying happy time on top floor.Inspite of these negligence no one can question them.Because, they are protected by Royal Arabs, who own this airline.

I tend to fly Cathay Pacific so does my GF but she is from HK and I am half Singaporean so yeah I love doing the comparison. London to Hong Kong return and Hong Kong to Singapore is what i have been doing since early & late 2023 and early 2024. The service def does seem to really have improved a lot from 2022. With Singapore Airlines.. i am not a fan of their economy ear pods whilst Cathay does have a better head set. Long Haul SQ does better snacks over Cathay. but for some reason i find Cathay seats little more comfortable to sleep on those 12 to 14 hour flights

My beloved Singapore Airlines! Up to COVID I would fly 2 long hauls, to Australia, per year. I re-started in February '23 and what a difference. The seats in Ryanair are more comfortable than In the new Air Bus. If you have the misfortune to sit behind a reclined Premium Economy, the space is so compressed it is almost impossible to leave your seat and I was advised to ring for assistance. What, in the case of emergency would the safety issues be? The addition of extra seats makes it more squashed and it's an added difficulty for the crew to service Economy Class. Crew also told me the galleys are also badly placed. As for galleys, the high standards of meals, pre COVID have now nose dived. I'm flying again soon and it's not an encouraging thought. It seems to me Singapore is firmly going after Premium passengers, at the expense of we poor fools in Cattle Class!!!!

We flew business on Eva Air last year and it was very underwhelming.

Eva air REALLY has that much legroom in economy? Sign me up.

SQ is great for safety and services but it is also goung down in quality - on food services, limited meal choiices and cleanliness of restrooms in long haul flights > 10 - 12 hours ( mostly due to horrible passengers). Their crew is best ever compared to Emirates, Cathy etc.. I skip Qatar and British air. Rest of the airlines are just run of the mill airlines. My expectations are high bar for airlines. The A350s are noisy as heck. Flying experience has dimished over the years.

Emirates has better economy, premium economy and arguably first class but the Q suite is better than Emirates business and Qatar service and food is right up there with emirates. For me it comes down to preference their both insanely good

Emirates is very overrated in my opinion. Imagine if u ask a crew in Emirates it takes 30-40 minutes, and Qatar takes max 5 minutes. Qatar airways and Singapore is nr. 1

Cathay Pacific-- well, they're at least on your list, are the best airline I've ever flown. 2nd goes to Air New Zealand. Both these airlines are better than any others on that list imo. I bet everyone's top 10 would be different to yours. & mine tho. Your top 3 picks fall Well short of my top 2 in terms of friendly staff & meals which are both important to me for the overall package

Qatar is definitely better than Emirates. It’s even rated “Best Airline In 2022”! The cabin crew service are both good from both airlines. But Qatar is better. Economy in both airlines is like Premium Economy. But the lighting in a regular Qatar plane, definitely the best!

I took Air France from Toronto Paris and return may return end of July the seat are inconfortable and the food was so so bad.and we were in business class , I will never take Air France again and I am French ,we travel around the world all The times.We complain to the CEO we still waiting for an answer… We know is Canadian and he was a purser onWest jet so what do you except from that…

As a regular traveller between Spain and Thailand we have limited choice and the three stand out airlines are Qatar, Emirates and Etihad and that is the order I would rate them but not in this list. Qatar are by far the best not just for their inflight qualities but the ground qualities at the airports, I have made v2 return journeys with Emirates and the first was average on the four legs but the second time the four legs were terrible, and the service in the economy on A380 aircraft was diabolical they had one trolley for food distribution on each isle and it was over one and a half hours before the rear seat passengers got any service and the food was as we have come to call aircraft food, not good quality or choice, also why do they have to give us in economy what they conceive to be posh food, we just want something we are familiar with. We know they have mixed nationalities on board but bat least flying from Spain and Thailand we could have some semblance of those countries foods. Etihad on the other hand is just like a jumped up national airline trying to be big, one return journey with them was enough so it is Qatar every time for me, Oh and they changed my itinerary once and it was only five minutes take off on one leg but as I wanted to change my dates I asked for a refund on line and got the refund in two hours in my bank.

Flew Qatar Madrid, Maputo via Johannesburg. Terrible. Canned like sardines, service awful. A month later flew Madrid Maputo via Lisbon with TAP Air Portugal. What a difference. Space, comfort and excellent service. Qatar is definately out for me.
