Best Oils For Deep Frying | Critical Health Advice

Dr. Zyrowski's Information Packed Website: bit.ly/2mHgoaC
Best Oils For Deep Frying | Critical Health Advice is a video that shows you which oils that you should and should not use when deep frying.
The best oils for cooking healthy are not any oil you stumble across at the grocery store. Rather these are very specific oils that have a particular biochemical makeup. This topic becomes even more important when you think about the best cooking oil for deep frying.
The first thing that is important when considering cooking oils is to choose oils that are not hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated. This is important because these types of oils cause omega 6 dominance in the body and inflammation which essentially leads to health concerns like arthritis. Conventional cooking oils are almost all bad fats that need to be avoided at all times.
The best oil for deep frying is avocado oil. It has an incredible heat tolerance and smoke point that beats out all the rest. A close second, and even a personal favorite of mine, is coconut oil because it also has a high heat tolerance. More importantly its affordable. Lets face it, when you start deep frying you will need a lot of oil and buying a big jug of avocado oil is not cheap.
The best oils for deep frying is an important choice to make when it comes to your overall health. Its almost impossible to have good health while consuming unhealthy fats on a daily basis. So be sure to not make that mistake.
The best cooking oils for frying will allow you to make delicious food, but also allow you to do it in a way that supports good health. The best part is that its even acceptable while following the ketogenic diet. When I first discovered this, it was a huge moment for me as I love sweet potato fries and I thought I was doomed to never eat them again. Now my family loves using the best oils for deep frying to make delicious foods. Healthy fats for keto are all included in these delicious fats as they are all keto approved.
I hope you enjoyed this video on the best deep frying oil for better health. The best oils for deep frying will improve your health and lifestyle and should never be overlooked.
My favorite oils:

Palm oil is most stable and only oil suitable for deep fried. Let's be open. Palm oil is the oil with highest content of vitamin E, antioxidant, carotene etc. Palm oil also best oil for environment, because most efficient, less land area with more volume of oil, no other oil come even close.

I would just be more clear about refined vs unrefined coconut oil. Refined Coconut oil Smoke Point is 450 F. However, Unrefined Virgin coconut oil smoke point is 350F. So for fried chicken (for example) which you want to cook at 350 F refined coconut oil is what you want to buy.

I use lard for frying because it's cheaper and better for healthy frying as my grandmother and her mother and so on did.

@Fativore Lifestyle Yes, you are correct on the partially hydrogenated part! No one should use that. However, "lard" and "tallow" have their own meaning. You cannot: "...render your own lard with grass fed beef tallow." Lard is from pigs and tallow is from ruminants such as cattle, sheep, etc. You can't turn one into the other.

There are different kinds of avocado oils, one being no good for cooking, while the other has been processed with similar techniques as typical vegetable oils, so not sure if that's a good option. Also, there seems to be some disagreement on the smoke point of coconut oil, unless that too has different forms.

The avacado and coconut oil mentioned in your presentation, are they extra virgin oil or refined ? What would be the difference in smoke point between EV and refined ? I find that extra virgin coconut oil also imparts a very strong coconut flavour to the food being cooked in it, more so than EVOO. That's why I sometimes used the refined coconut oil.

Avocado oil has a fairly high smoke point. You can also use hog lard which also has a lot of healthy unsaturated fats along with it's saturated fats but has no trans fats as long as it isn't added in which would be used to increase it's shelf life. Lard is very heat stable.

Great video! I wish you would've mentioned one final category... What about the people like me who "combine" these oils to gain not only a healthy option but control taste? Example: I like to mix Coconut oil and Extra virgin Olive Oil with a touch of Ghee. For some reason, this just makes the best "taste" on most fried foods. I usually never raise my deep fryer above 485 degrees, and I strain my oil well to ensure it isn't compromised later. I also reserve flavoring for "after" sautéing, or if I deep fry with a batter, I only reuse the oil 3 times, and I follow the well known trick of adding starch to my oil and then boiling it to make sure I filter out all impurities. So is mixing oils okay?
