Most of the Belmont arsenal are holy and blessed tools or weapons 3. Their strength and power to withstand the Demon castle is Entirely based on Will power and faith. 4. The only reason Leon left the church to fight evil was to save his beloved, and to save the people from hordes of monsters that the CHURCH chose to ignore.

You'd think they'd be like the church from the Van Hellsing movie where they were supplying weapons ranging from crossbows, swords, even crucifixes to the hunter and having him take a holy man with him to help him

@@Noodlelandia I honestly think that some parts of the church, or members still used to help out the clan, or atleast taught the Belmonts how to make Holy Water or how to bless weapons or tools. There was probably someone who was a friend of Leon's that stuck around to bless things for him. Dude was a Baron after all, regardless of his 'casting all aside' he still saved thousands of lives from hordes of evil, and his fellow lords probably loved the favt he saved their people while they fought the crusades. Its also possible that the excommunication was a written thing to save face but never intended to be really acted on. "We must write you out as a monster, but know that we gathered here, know your sacrifice and give our blessing. Go Leon, with the Blessings of God." That kinda thing also happened back then as well.

@@belmontzar I honestly can't wait for the show to give us a sort of religious character like a priest or friar who doesn't see Sypha or Trevor as bad people because they're not a part of the religion, shows no ill will towards Alucard because he's half vampire, and wants to help them out because it's the right thing to do. And so far all the religious people are corrupt, very superstitious about anything that involves magic and hates anyone who doesn't believe in God

Dazzledweeb I mean two of them basically had 2 years of fun childhood between training and lessons before getting thrown into basically exile. Alucard for recovery, Belmont for survival... that does make you realize that Trevor likely had gotten those clothes as a teen and they were too big on him or whenever he needed to get new clothes had the family crest re embroidered on it as he got older and bigger

When I first watched this show, I was surprised at how well Trevor and Alucard immediately got along. It was actually kind of a nice inversion of character interactions.

To think that Trevor Belmont is such a beast and he isn't even properly trained. He was on his own since 12. That's crazy

these seasons I personally call Trevor: the fighter that is so drunk/hungover that he temporarily lost 10 lvls and progressively regains them as he sobers up and has positive social interaction

This is what happens when Thorin Oakenshield has been reincarnated by Order, renamed him Trevor Belmont and reformed him from a dwarf to a man. Damn.

I love that each season is a few episodes. They really emphasize quality over quantity, I could imagine if the animations were more fluid with 60fps and detailed like akiras. Still I'm grateful as hell I cannot wait untill they do rondo of blood and symphony of the night

I think I’d like to see a side series based on Circle of the Moon as well. Since it is a separate continuity from the normal timeline.

Honestly, I'd rather them do a series based on Lament of Innocence. For being the first Belmont to wield the Vampire Killer, Leon doesn't get a lot of recognition. Also IMO, doing a series for Rondo or Symphony would mess with Dracula and Lisa's ending.

It's not even real episodes per se... the whole season is just cut up for production purposes at convenient places but the writing almost didn't even seem to consider the format at all over in the first episode. That season reads better more like a single longer movie, rather.

I love Alucard‘s and Trefi‘s best-buddies-dynamic!! It’s really believable!! The chemistry in this show altogether actually!! (Thank you so much for all the likes!! These are the most I’ve ever received..!)

Richard Armitage has the greatest voice for Belmont that there is. You wouldn't expect a voice as velvety as his to be so comically perfect for the role

I wanted Trevor in smash over Richter, specifically thanks to this show.

I hear my friends arguing about whether Simon or Richter are better. But we all know in our hearts who the best Belmont is. C'mon Sakurai. Trevor for Smash.

I think Richard had a lot of fun playing this character. Now imagine it's Thorin saying all this- it's hilarious.

"God shits in my dinner once again" is the highlight quote in this whole series for me tbh

Trevor is my favorite Belmont

I love series like this. Not just because I’m a big fan of the supernatural, but the whole silly/serious dichotomy they’ve got going on. It’s like... the point of the show isn’t to be funny, because it isn’t a comedy, but funny things still happen because they happen IRL.

I love that he manages to sound like a teenager and like battle hardened old man all at one time.
