Wow - Lifelike - So Electric! - One of my faves from back in the day. 2006 I think? Or was it 2009? Even Radio 1 in the UK played that back then - Just once or twice on Pete Tong's show. How they have fallen. It made me think of a beautiful futuristic world set in the year 2019 driving over the dartford crossing or loo0king up at some very similar amazing bridge with an amazing feeling of miracle happiness with sunshine and a beautiful sky. And there 2019.... went and that even did kind of happen more than once. I one or 2 such moments on video and music & mixes like this make me want to upload it. Funny how all along this kind of music was making so many other people think the same kind of things, so much so that a whole scene now exists around it. I thought these synth wave tracks were mostly made buy kids in bedrooms in the last 5 years bringing back the 80s sounds, I didn't realise properrly released tracks from classic artists from back in the day were such a big part of it. I guess they must be from hearing this. That makes me feel much better for some reason...

Of all the numerous synthwave mixes I've listened to on KZread, I keep coming back to this one. It's got the most genuinely moving songs on it. Both Dust to Dust and Palms by Quixotic, Born to Die Maximum Love Remix, In the Face of Evil by Magic Sword, Overdrive by Lazerhawk (my personal favourite), Hyperspace Drifter 2 by Stilz, Fracture by Dance With the Dead ... and of course the title screen of Hotline: Miami just happens to be snuck in there too.
