I share the best of JLC 2023 as well as my epic failure while there! JLC Live Providence is the best show to attend! It has the right balance of tool and and material manufactures to talk to as well as tons of live demos and instruction! I would plan on going if I were you next year!

    I can't stress enough how the Max high pressure system has changed my framing time. Cordless nailers are heavy anchors compared to these lightweight guns. Add up all the time you spend loading clips of nails! Coil positive placement nailer, 2 coil framers, the Max compressor pays for itself in 1 job! your elbow will thank you in 10 years!

    I've been thinking about picking one up but I wanna build up to replacing my entire setup . Can I plug a pig tank into the 100psi side until I make the full switch over to high pressure?

    It’s great! My shed has been completed and it turned out nice looking and sturdy and it is way better than the sheds that many of my neighbors had put up. Of course, I'm pleased with the outcome and this Ryan’s kzread.infoUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans was extremely useful to me as a guide.

    I used to bash Festool. Then I ran into a guy who has a bunch of them so he let me play with a few. NOW i see the hype behind them. Still can't convince me they are worth over the price of a Milwaukee but I was indeed impressed. Sadly I don't really do wood or construction. I do automotive and metal work. If they ever come out with that line of tools. Count me in.

    The festool flat saw ( not a table saw) is maybe and I mean maybe ok for trim carpenters ( I am finish / contractor) however me? I will trash that expensive saw in 6 months! It’s a hobby saw for ppl who want to spend more money than necessary! 1 st thing I break is that 10” side support!

  • @olgajoachimosmundsen4647
    @olgajoachimosmundsen4647 Жыл бұрын

    The festool table saw has incredible amounts of accessories you can use with it, like two different types of rail fence, dust-extraction both from blade, and from blade-housing etc. It also has micro-adjustments to the rip fence. But it lacks the main thing; power. The motor is too weak to rip lumber - even dry. It also takes longer to set up the saw, but it is in return very compact as you store it. Really, it is good for finer carpentry/trim. But it is no good for ripping lumber.

    Festool Tablesaw - nope! I sure don't need Bluetooth enabled tools and I don't want to wait for my saw to boot up. Motorized height and angle motors? C'mon. It's quiet. That's about the only thing it's got going for it. Knowing festool this is gonna cost as much as a Sawstop

    Agree with that, too much time wasted for getting one, or several cuts. A couple of nice features, but if time is $$ compound miter saw is much quicker, and I'm sure you'll save $$$$ over that saw. Besides, In my book, a table saw should only be used for ripping, period.
