Nice job setting the Plex tubing. As a 50-year building and concrete contractor, I was wondering why you didn't pump the concrete. I've pumped 1000s of yards of concrete, and it's so much easier. Less labor intense. They did do a good job, but you could have cut the install time by at least a 1/3rd. Also, I saw your building was framed as a wood structure. I've used SIPS for years, and the ease of installing them is incredible. You would have had a super insulated building. That building could have been erected, with roof in about 5 days. 100 % waterproof. I market for a leading SIPS company who have the best product on the market. I did a 3-story condo at Ft Myers Beach which was under construction during Hurricane Ian. It when through 155 mph winds and a 15 ft storm surge with no damage, while most everything else was washed out to sea and blown down. You can reach me at [email protected] for more information.

Absolutely loving this time lapse video. Hopefully more of these will follow. Big fan of yours and have been following along for a few years. You two always smash it out of the park and make everyone else look substandard.

The part I was most curious about actually was how you peeled the shingles back and tied the new ones in. Seemed like that was skipped. Just make sure you cover that next time! good stuff.

LOVE the timelapse!! You should do more of these Kyle!! Of course I love the narrated versions of your normal episodes, but incorporating more timelapses would significantly improve the experience of watching the development of the buildings you're constructing - it gives the FEELING of seeing the building GROW in front of one's eyes!!! ;)

5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, lots of space. This is easily a million dollar home in today's market. I would have put a half bath downstairs off the great room and two full baths upstairs since there are 4 bedrooms upstairs.

Tip for the cement mixer: drop the bag onto that jagged bar running across the hopper. It will pierce the bag across the middle and you can lift the ends of the bag, spilling the contents into the hopper in a matter of seconds.

Stingers = less effort, less $$$. The three extra posts you did next to the deck are not needed you use the deck to support the stringer, too much time and extra effort for the boxes. You can cantilever the step out a bit for a plant. Use 1x to box the riser. For most people time is money and over building is hard to justify. BTW Menards, HD, and Lowes all sell precut stringers = no math needed.

We have big feet in our family, (oldest son wears a size 13 shoe) so I would have wanted the treads of the steps to be at least 12 in. Otherwise they look awesome!

The Pantheon is epic, the Colosseum is epic, Michaelangelo's works are epic, the pyramids are epic.Forgive me but this is far from "Epic", is a nicely built building, I'll give you that. But epic? Nothing about this fits the definition.

@ Michael, great work! When you edit these can you make the saw/drill/machine sounds quieter? Find myself keeping the volume up to hear Kyle explain something or catch all of the banter and then down the line you get smacked in the face with a really loud saw or something. Maybe leveling the audio using levelator or something prior to the full edit would help but in general still think the machine sounds should be on the lower side anyway. Thanks! Great work with these videos!
