the use of IIII instead of IV is sadly not uncommon. thankfully usually only done for clocks, so at least not used for anything that actually matters, even if it's a dumb practice nonetheless. supposedly to help people who don't know roman numerals, but if you don't know roman numerals you probably don't know what V or X mean anyway so... kinda useless for its supposed reason. not to mention four lines causes more visual confusion than three do at a glance, which is *likely* the reason for IV etc being the way they are in the first place. tl;dr: it's dumb but it's sadly used sometimes for idiotic reasons.

@Hazel Mititai This isn't used for people that don't know these litterals, and a simple proof is that else 9 would probably be written out as VIIII. This is supposedly due to a personnal preference of the king Louis XIV, and I also think this was used by some romans.

Quick google "When Roman numerals were in use by the Roman Empire, the name of the Romans' supreme deity, Jupiter, was spelled as IVPPITER in Latin. There was a feeling that using the start of Jupiter's name on a clock dial, and it being upside down where it fell, would be disrespectful to the deity, so IIII was introduced instead."

@@cosmobane6995 I think it's brilliant because swing was inherently dance music, so electronica is a logical genre to blend with it since it's often heavily influenced by modern club music and vice versa. Fits like a glove.

Its always been a bit of a gimmick to me, in the same vein as people really into sea shanties or that fad in the 90s or whatever with the chanting. I like it, but so much of it just sounds exactly the same so I can't help but write it off pretty quickly.

Because both have the potential to be very lighthearted. Sure, there can be 'darker' themed anime. This said, I'm not particular a fan of anime, but I can get behind why the art-style works and clearly see the artistic potential to use it to convey a theme. And due to that it seems (!) to be easier to create multi-leveled animes than in traditional west-style comics. Anime is also not afraid of mix and matching, like being goofy and melancholy. In addition to that, it is both simplistic and potentially precise/complex if necessary without breaking the style. It's still not a superior art-style. It's just one of many to choose from. The rest is personal preference.

Listened to like 20 or more mixes... them same songs over and over again for each month yet I can see new songs pop up all the time and nobody is using them in new mixes... since 2018 the songs go just on repeat... so almost 5 years of new songs unused...

That's almost never what the title means. It means it's the mix they put out for that month and year. It's very common for this genre, going back to when people made mixtapes of music the same way.
