They want to agitate them, that being said.... Alot of people are getting harassed by waaaay too many cops. But people... Don't act like brats just because they do, that only makes you a piece of shit, rise above it. So many of these videos just makes the people recording look stupid. I am so happy this shit doesn't happen in Norway. Though I do understand alot of these cop encounters and why some feel they need to record, but no excuse for the people filming in supermarkets etc. But it is entertaining though

We have audits in Norway too, only difference, they act proffesional, they don't harass people doing their job, they don't upload their shit to the internet to get views. They do their inspections, and send the results through proper channels without exposing other peoples private information for the world to see. And they do not get a kick from it, because the moment you do, you loose all proffesionality. Cheers Brandon

I pretty much had an encounter like that a few months ago actually. I just got off work and was right outside my warehouse and got asked where i was going by two cops clearly stalking me and not asking any of the other employees. I managed to tell them off by showing them my work badge. They literally couldnt grasp the concept that people at fedex and amazon get off work and desperately just want to go home. If they see this, good job, you know how to waste delivery workers time! Dont circle businesses just to be a dick. Ever since then, i am not afraid to tell cops that they need to be protecting us from the REAL danger. I know a dumbass cop when see one

Soooo true. This is almost always a dead giveaway to it being a tyrant. Perhaps the military was too tough for them to join because they only wish to GIVE orders, and don't like to TAKE them, so they just became a cop....The perfect job for bullying OTHERS. (but they still want to "look tough" like our soldiers who really have balls and are the ones truly putting their lives on the line.) I'm so tired of hearing "back the badge". I'll back you if you act like a human being. If you act like a Nazi, you can shove your badge up your backside! People need to film more cops and never EVER back down when you are in the right. It’s a safety thing. They ask for ID for multiple reasons, such as if someone does rob the bank, if they do break in after filming or casing a place, they have a name to go with the face on camera to bring the guilty party in quickly. If you were set out on a street where the multitude of people hate you, call you pigs and corrupt wouldn’t you want to to try to keep yourself safe? I’d love to see the ones who call them pigs and corrupt work in the jail or on the street. They would definitely be a lot less mouthy about things they’ve never seen the other side to.

If you're talking about the cops, they have absolutely no obligation to tell you who they are, just as you have no obligation to tell them who you are, unless you're suspected of a crime. The cops at the 1 minute mark are actually a prime example of perfect police work. Straight to the point, even identified himself, acted reasonably, told him the exact reason he's there in a very professional demeanor and articulated coherently and, if he had chosen to, had every right to give a lawful order to surrender some level of identification. The guy was just plain being a dick. This is a terrible way to audit if that was the purpose of his filming. Any court would side with this. Heavy clothing on a warm day, a mask on and recording a bank, which could be construed as spying, surveillance, reconnaissance and in very few cases, espionage. This would give anyone a sense of worry. What if he was across YOUR house doing this exact thing? It would feel a bit suspicious. I challenge anyone to argue against this point when dealing with the 1st amendment.

The officer was issued a mask. He’s not wearing it. If he gets sick, his claim against his insurance and the city/state needs to be denied for his refusal to use the issued safety equipment. The “officer safety” argument really falls flat when they refuse to protect themselves.

The biggest concern for that is that there is a law against recording or taking pictures of a military base whether or not you on base. So there concern isn't that he is taking pictures, it's the fact that he might be taking pictures of the military base. There are certain reasons on why that's a problem. Many military members live and go off base (myself included) and that becomes a security issue when it comes to someone taking pictures of these members. Many jobs in the military require a secret or higher clearance, so that's why he was stopped.
