20:26 really understands the art of integrating audience while still making people laugh about himself and the act and lifting up the person playing along instead of making the joke about something they are doing.

I am so glad I clicked on this. The Duel and the washing machine bits were really good. And I have never seen a better impersonation of a cat before. Super funny.
Yuri Medvedev, who in 1999 was an actor/ performer in Alegria, is my ultimate favorite. The raw emotion he brought to his performances will never be duplicated.

Alegria is the outstanding performance by far, pure genius. Maximime, who did this act after Yuri Medvedev, made it even better in my opinion. His act is titled 'Coat act from "Snowstorm"' ...

His act was a reprisal of "Slava's Snowshow", an earlier act from a Russian clown. It's very good too! I think Yuri has a more raw, heartfelt, take.
Absolutely 💯% Love the gunfight sequence! Such comedic talent in all.
Everything is so professional with Cirque du Soliel. What looks simple and easy is so well rehearsed. Incredible work!

My favourite is the one that does the screen play of the lover triangle. Superbly executed!
Oh, my goodness, as a musician I can so much relate to the conductor clown...! Especially when he tapes together all his sheetmusic on the musicstand!! I love it!!...😅😂
I was in first row when I saw Alegria. I will never forget that moment when he performed. It truly was one of the beautiful moments of my life (starts at 1:09:11)

@@GabrielsLogic Alegria's clown is an example of the other side of Clowning. A man approaches his train at the train station, he waits for the train... and someone else. We don't know who the other person is, maybe they are a relative, maybe a lover, maybe a friend. We do know they are close and that he hurts to leave them. But the other person is forceful, despite his care, and they slip a note into his pocket during the goodbye. We see him leave on the train and arrive, after the bustle of the departure he finds the note in his pocket. It's nothing good. Maybe the letter tells him she went with someone else, maybe it details a relative's betrayal, or maybe the truth of how the friend was using him. We do know it hurts. He destroys the letter and walks into the night. The last we see of him is as he's getting lost in a blizzard. Unsure of a destination for himself from here on. As I said, it's the other side of clowning. Not all the folks with funny faces are comedians and sometimes the act is as much a tragedy as real life can be.

Watching this video is like strolling into a Park filled with Pennies
i saw kurios live in Brisbane just days before covid shut the world down. the couch / cat skit made me laugh so hard i had an asthma attack and had to have like 10 puffs of my inhailer. so worth it though. one of the funniest skits ive seen in a while. I also really love the les cons from la nouba., shame it closed
Comedy is one of the hardest genres to perform. Great shows! I miss the clowns from Varekai! The first show I saw from Cirque, great memories!

I've seen most of these shows live over the years but the last one with Yuri Medvedev is still one of my favourites. Beautifully constructed.
The Saltimbanco troop are the best clowns in the world. Absolutely WORLD CLASS! They make what they do look so easy but it's not!

Wayne Wilson is an unbelievable physical comedian, that command of the body to deliver that performance is both impressive and hilarious. Can we talk about that chair flip and self fling? Great stuff, I wish I'd seen Volta live...
We watch this whole compilation with my daughter every day while we brush teeth. She does circus classes too...amazing stuff.

Cirque du Soleil is the pinnacle of entertainment! I have been blessed attending 2 live performances and own all available videos. Nouvelle Experience was my first way back on HBO, I believe, and have been hooked ever since. Don't miss a live performance or TV special!

Not really... he is slava snowshow. This act was first premiered by cirque du soleil, eventually the clown leave and created slavas.
The first clown had real mr bean energy. Aldo my favorite was 48:11 that is the only one that made me laugh 😂
