You know, I doubt he actually finds them funny. I believe he just says that to save face. Doug always does that, he saves face and is always too much of a PR guy. It wouldn't surprise me if he freaking hated the jokes, but is smart enough to hide it.

I'm actually a bit surprised that he said Melvin was a funny video when he was younger. When it was released, even the most diehard Doug fans hated it and it became an instant target of mockery to the point where Doug Walker killed Melvin off during one of their charity streams. The point of my story is I got a dry chafey handy from a date in that park and that memory will forever be “I got a dry handy at a Nostalgia Critic filming location.”

Doug has a history of being an asshole, I wouldn't collaborate with him. He might seem like his good at taking jokes but he seems mentally unable to take any form of criticism to heart ironically.

This video has aged like fine wine after seeing how Linkara and Doug Walker each reacted to Oneyplays crew’s jokes. Linkara was whiny and Doug said he thought was they were really funny. My respect for Doug has risen.

I actually find it hard to find Nostalgia Critic content that isn't every bit as nasty as his The Wall review. I don't understand what stands out about that particular video so much to everyone. He's been that pretentious and unfunny for years.

I always find myself looking over my shoulder in fear of Doug Walker. My life has been hell ever since I let that Nostalgia Critic marathon play on my airpods for the entire night. Anytime I am watching a movie I hear Doug's voice constantly. I always feel as if I can see that face.. that smiling face out of the corner of my eye. Honestly i am going insane. No doctor will take me seriously as its supposedly "made up" and "not medically recognized". Its beginning to affect my social life and I find myself talking less and less to my friends/family. My girlfriend decided to spend last weekend at her friends house because of my constant paranoia. She still hasnt come back. Even my parents dont believe me. I am starting to look at "alternative" methods to end my suffering.

My favorite part of his 8 crazy nights review is his 5 minute skit on how funny he thought one of Adam Sandler's jokes in that movie was.

I had to come back to watch this after that clip of linkara being legitimately angry over Chris O'Neill's impression of him.

Rewatching this in tribute of Doug being such a good sport about Oney's riffing. Who knew Douglas was so based?

IIRC the video randomly shows an image of Linkara looking distressed, like he's trying to chase off someone with his gun, but the critic has animated his mouth to make him apologize and admit to a bunch kf weird stuff. Pretty funny

I pride myself on the fact that even though I was once a huge autistic Nostalgia Critic fan I have never seen any of his "films"
