@@edgaralonso8088 because they answered the question under the pretense of it being a clone that had no memories of being osama/hitler. At the same time, if they share the exact same memories, and the perfect copy believes itself to be hitler, what makes it a truly seperate person? If this perfect copy hitler was put into hitler's position, it would make the same decisions because at a fundamental level there is no difference between the perfect copy hitler and actual hitler, other than the fact that this hitler is only 6 inches tall. However, for the sake of this hypothetical, this has no influence on the perfect copy of hitler's intellegence or perception of himself. In any case, Chris's point makes sense, he just does a terrible job explaining it until the shapiffany follow up hypothetical, which is a much better version of the hitler hypothetical. Regardless of everything I said, I think we can agree that this shit is funny.

The tiny Hitler hypothetical is hilarious to me because everyone in the room except for Chris keeps trying to apply real world logic to a situation in which you have a tiny clone of Adolf Hitler, and in response Chris adds things to nullify that so he can get an answer, then they ask “why do you keep adding things god how am I supposed to keep up”

I love how Julian doesn’t even describe the blurry man in the alley as doing anything threatening or scary, he’s just standing there and Chris’s first thought is to attack and kill it

My favorite bit about the Tiny Hitler debacle is that everyone immediately answers that they wouldn't torture a Tiny Hitler clone because he didn't do it even if he thought he did, but Chris just refused to accept it and the debacle avalanched into the greatest moment in the Kingdom Hearts playthrough.

Do it. I'll say this, I think I get Chris's take. He was trying to say, if you had easy access to fuck with a bad dude without much danger, would you? He spun it the way he did to try to get a more heartfelt answer, and thought just saying it outright like "would you fuck over Hitler if you could?" would end up leading to an easy "of course I would, fuck that guy!" Then the semantics came in. In that case I would argue this, that if a copy, clone, or anything else of a bad dude came about, fucking sucks to be him. How many other examples can you think of where people get fucked because of those that come before them? In this case I think I would side with better safe than sorry vs hoping for a chance this version could potentially be better instead of going on to harm many many more. What do you think? Would you go about it differently?

@@DUHRIZEO but that's just it, if it was done right, for all intents and purposes they would have the some thoughts, interests, feelings and act the same as the original, the only way that would change would be from any large enough outside influence. It would be a good psychological study about extreme violence/beliefs, if this perfect copy of Hitler could be made. Could he be rehabilitated to legitimately become a good person? If so what would it take, if not what does it say about the justice system? Also would that mean everyone "bad" is irredeemable or is it just for those at the extremes. I think morally if such a copy of Hitler was created, as the people that created him we wouldnt have the right to torture/hurt him as we would be the ones responsible for bringing his existence into the world, if you was to time travel and slap/assault the real hitler it would be different. As we are aware of what he is likely to be like any actions that the copy would take, up to a given timeframe, would outright be the responsibility of the creators

No that isn’t what happened at all. Essentially they didn’t answer the question at all. He said “What if this would happen?” And they said “Wait a second. That would never happen!” The hypothetical doesn’t need to be accurate to real life but they just nitpicked it as if it happened in real life.

When you realize 'tiny man' was actually probably what inspired the purple things in Smiling Friends

Everyone defending Chris is forgetting that he got an answer immediately and he just got mad about the answer.

The Tiny Hitler Hypothetical will always be my favorite Oneyplays moment: Chris trying to do a hypothetical like normal, only for the rest of the group to gain sentience and argue with him over the logistics of cloning

I like how Chris just wants to punch or kill everyone in each hypothetical

Haha wouldn't be funny if she loved me back haha what a great hypothetical

Zach saying she blinked five times is the greatest thing that ever went in my ears

Zach just kinda gives you a scenario, and keeps tacking things on to get you to the only logical conclusion for how to respond and then laughs at you for reaching the logical conclusion

I'm glad to have the closure of them reconciling their definition of "clone" and I am in hysterics about the fact that it didn't change the conclusion of their argument AT ALL.

The "Tiny Clone" hypothetical always cracks me up.

Ding dong and Julian’s hypotheticals were always so strange, I miss those guys

Probably because it wasn't known yet at the time they were together, so Chris backtracked to not out them

Oney plays, Best of: Naming game files. "Oh look, that's tomar" Jumpscares Fat Albert Nostalgia critic/channel awesome Freddy freaker. Simpsons/family guy. I know many people have done these but just under 'official' for the channel. I would love a massive video of all the best animated videos. Although that could be a grey area when other peoples art is involved. Loving these. Let's cleaning up better without having to constantly click on the next vid ha.

I think the last one would be a great idea with a tweak or two. They would need the animators permission of course, first and foremost. I think it would be great if it was just small snippets from each animation that enticed the viewers to watch the original.

11:44 was when the hypothetical was answered for anyone saying that Matt and DD never gave Chris an answer. The point of that clone not being the original wrong doer is never fully refuted and Matt has committed to saying no twice now. From this point on whatever goes on leads nowhere and is incredibly funny.

I came for Zach parts

He has a clone of Bestofgameplays with all his memories. He's a tiny perfect copy and Chris forces him to upload them to OneyPlays but he remembers uploading them to Bestofgameplays.

I like to think that if Chris asked his tiny Hitler hypothetical to Zach and Tomar he'd get immediate answers

The Osama and/or Hitler Clone hypothetical is still one of the most angry and heated debates I've heard to this day XD

I’m loving all this compilation videos being released. The hypotheticals are some of the funniest things in these videos.

The tiny clone one was WILD. They turn from "If it's YOUR hypothetical and you can say anything you want, couldn't you remove the portion that creates any moral ambiguity and make the answer clear and obvious?" to "That's not how clones work in the real world! You can't make them work that way in your fictional hypothetical where you can clone tiny war criminals!" I swear, they were dodging that question like it was a Dark Souls boss 😂Would you mess with a tiny being that fully believed they were a historical monster, but technically weren't; yes or no???

Can we all agree that the next compilation that needs to happen should be called "the sounds of series:" and its the mental sounds of all the people on Oney Plays. Like I'd listen to a 1hr long video about Zach screaming or making crazy noises. E.g. when he screamed Mummy in Left for Dead.

Straw Berry judging by ding dong’s twitter i think they’re doing pretty well! there’s been a lot of showcases for bippy (the game they’re making) recently and it looks really fun to play

The whole Hitler hypothetical is why I prefer the pairing of Zach, Chris, Lyle, and Tomar because they're all more chill together and just laugh and have a fun time with hypotheticals rather than questioning every small thing and starting arguments about it

This is the one we've all been waiting for, my babies.

When the sasquatch scream happened in the game I actually got scared because I was not expecting it. Nearly spit my tea on my monitor.
