so happy for that humble lady.
I am not into jewelry, but that was stunning.
Holy smokes that is gorgeous! 💕
Woah I'm an Indian and I didn't know the history of the rare Kashmir sapphires!
They don't make jewelry like they used to. Gorgeous.

But...I have seen(&/or, have😊) some absolutely beautiful settings and stones( gorgeous cutting!!)❤ The incredible workmanship & Art is 2nd only to the stone itself. It's not so much in Gold anymore but it's beautiful 👍😁
Wow. This is gorgeous. The color, style and workmanship details are just outstanding.
Cool history too.... landslide creates a way for us people to dig out some gorgeous gemstones & make jewelry (& money!)
Very nice day she had with her sapphire ring.
I just discovered this channel and it's amazing!!!

Did it say the carat weight of the sapphire? Is it about 5? - 3?
@duelenigma7732
5 ай бұрын
Sapphires are heavier than diamonds so it could be 5-10ct. as it is very big and heavier than a dia of this size . If I were so lucky to own it I would have the sapphire off to a skilled stone cutter for re crowning so it would look brand new . ( retired jeweller) .

As someone English , the way Americans say edwaaaaardian hurts my ears ?!!
Gorgeous ring
I thought she Was going to pass out when she heard the 100k to 150k appraisal 😂😂
edwardian period didn't begin until victoria died in 1901. this was a beautiful piece of art nouveau/late victorian work, though....

The ring could very well have been mined in the 1880s but not cut, sold, and fashioned into a ring suitable for Western tastes until the the early 1900s
Undervalued in todays market. At least not in retail value.
I was wondering she didn't mention anything about carat weight.

I believe that in order to determine carat weight, they would have to be removed from the mounting and weighed individually.

@@terrywade3696 they can also measure the stone and give a rough estimate. It usually help 😉
@terrywade3696

@@zeedavis5300 Yes, but it would be a very rough estimate because gemstones of the same size have very different densities and therefore, different carat weight even though they measure the same.

@@terrywade3696 you're right. However you're missing the point. Things shown on video can appear larger or smaller. I'm referring to a ball park figure. For example , 15 carats or 20 carats. Not 15.29 carats.big difference from 5 carats to 20 carats.
I don't see any clips to hold the sapphire in. Did they glue the stones in during that period?

That would look so good on my little finger.
Put it on! I’m so tired of seeing jewelry apprised and not worn. Can ARS please have people wear the jewelry at the end?
Will she take payments? 😂. Gorgeousness!
Queen Victoria was on the throne in 1900
In Vermont. As if...🟦
The dark secret of the AR is the descions made following an appraisal. Do they keep it or sell it is always at the top of the list. If they keep it, can they afford the insurance. If they sell, is part of their family going to be missed? What is the value? Who would be the recipient of the sale? Before the appraisal, blissfully unaware. After, regret and problems.
Now she will be scared to wear it in case she loses her finger !
I still have to have it framed. I can do 250$ on it.
It can’t be Edwardian if it was purchased in 1900 as Queen Victoria didn’t die until 1901.
