@@CarLifeIsContent I have sprayed the back box black using a rattle can of high temperature exhaust paint and am really pleased with the results. I have already bought the genuine carbon/alcantara interior kit for the handbrake and DCT drive selector. A nice little wet weekend project. Now considering some carbon for the exterior which worked well on my previous black 440iGC. Still undecided on whether to do it to the M2 Comp as it is Sunset Orange. I need to see one in person with it fitted before making a decision. Not getting a splitter this time though!

Common mods seem to make it through the dealership still. I bought an e92 with the backbox modified from a dealer and my M2 CS was sold with the akrapovic and eventuri intake!

Hello brother, hope all is well! Do you have any idea if the charge pipes, intakes, and turbo inlets require a tune or not. Not for hp gains but for the relatability of the car. Meaning will it run normally without throwing any lights on the dashboard or will it run too lean? Because I want the intake for the sound and the charge pipes and the turbo inlet are just safety since as said the stock ones do get broken easily. Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

You can absolutely run intakes, charge pipes, intake, exhaust, etc without worrying about any of that. No need for specific tuning for those parts at all. To be totally honest though, changing the intakes on the M2C is kinda pointless. It doesn't change the sound all that much at all, and the stock system is actually pretty well optimized. Sure, the Eventuri is practically a work of art, but for the price, you might as well do some exhaust upgrades. If you are going for an intake system though, just make sure it's a sealed-filter setup for the M2C. Charge pipes I would say are definitely worth changing, especially the rubber ones, because of the way they can degrade. You don't really have to worry about specific tuning until you're at the point of changing your stock downpipes, or something like that.

It's taken at Swift - I spoke with Russell and we think they are Remus or BMS. I don't know the owner. :)
