I have owned my 2020 Sunset Orange example exactly 4 weeks and absolutely love it! In the late 90s I ran an E30 M3 and this is the closest in spirit, to that car, that I have driven.

Wow thats a real compliment to the M2C! Sunset orange is probably the best colour for these too.

100% agree on ALL points!!

i prefer the og m2 because for me, it is more sensationnal and the sound with mperf exhaust is just perfect . The m2 competition is quicker, easier to use every day... but for my own use, the og m2 is the best choice. But it s 2 beautiful cars !

And I dare say that this car will hold its value even more so now that they've leaked images of the G87 M2! From the talk already on the internet - a polarising design to say the least, especially from the rear.

Ha I did mention the same actually but I chopped it out as the video was too long... totally agree!

Ive driven the M2 comp lovely car definitely more refined as far as handling especially the steering compared to the standard M2 I’m driving a 1M now it was a hard choice between the 2 cars.

@@CarLifeIsContent I live under a mountain range in Nsw I think it’s the best mountain road in OZ. I driven a lot of fast cars on that road over the years. Nothing even comes 2 it. Pure driving heaven. If you get a chance 2 grab one don’t hesitate.

What are your thoughts on the F87 Competition in DCT vs Manual? I'm looking to pick a 2021 M2 Competition used for weekends, fun driving around town, wife date nights, going to golf with friends, etc. I can't decide if I should do DCT or Manual

I got the dct as I wanted to do track work. If the car was just for Sunday drives and fast road etc I'd have gone manual. I've specced my new M2 in manual as it won't see the track.

@@CarLifeIsContent Thank you. I live in the Los Angeles area and we have some of the worse traffic in the world. I guess it doesn't matter if it's manual if it's a weekend only car or special ocassions. The DCT seems more for consistent driving or even daily
