Best hair cutting tutorials on KZread ( for me, anyways. Fine, thinning hair- used to be really thick, tho.) And, Summer- your hair looks great!! Thanks for these videos. I'm sending this one to my stylist. Seems like a lot of them just don't know how to do this. Other comments here notice that as well. Hmmm.. your videos are gold!

This is a fantastic tutorial! Thankyou so much! Do you have any advice for cutting hair that is thinning in the front but still very thick in the back? My mom is loosing hair only at the front top of her head. She wears her hair long because it looks good from the back, but I would love to be able to give her a cut that would help the hair to look thicker in the front.

This is what I asked my stylist to avoid- thin, straggly layers and no strong base perimeter, but she just picked up her shears and cut jagged layers like a Christmas tree! Now I am screwed! I let her cut my waist length hair to 2 inches below the shoulder. Gonna have to cut another 3 inches off to get rid of all the holes. So sad!

Won't all that point cutting make it hard to look nice with curling iron curls because they will look shaggy

No, it won't. When. If te layers are too blunt, they end up looking choppy.
