Great information...thanks for sharing. It's refreshing to see a video that's about reselling items other than clothing...seems that particular market is currently too saturated and a difficult niche to get sales from, esp. for new resellers...it's time for changes. Appreciate the tips.

Elizabeth Munson No I am not or was not back then With auto correct as you can see from my post I sound illiterate lol Anyway in 5 th grade I pulled her out and brought home school books you can get for each grade. Then I taught her on my own what you need to survive in life and what you need to reach goals in life. One thing was typing. Yep typing that no kid learns now days. It was that typing that got her the job in our library that lasted 20 years. And she did not check out books. She worked on a pc entering data on library items like books cds movies etc for 13 libraries in our county plus the jail Typing got her in and being a straight A student in grade school gave her the intelligence to do her job. I feel so bad for kids now because our Government has taken away many things from schools like Cursive writing. If the kids from the last 5 yrs till now don’t know cursive writing then their adult hood will be very stressful They won’t be able to read unless they are on a pc and not everything we need to read is on a pc. Parents of today wake up. The government is making your kids illiterate to what they will need to know. Our archives are in cursive omg talk about identity thief Printing your name like your kids have to today is so easy to copy !! Tell you child if they learn cursive writing there will be a high paying job for them later. They will be sought after to read for the President paperwork he or she can’t read because they were a kid from today. Blessings y’all

I would also note that video games is also worth checking out. The other day, I literally found a game called Silent Hill 4: The Room for the Xbox and it could easily go for around $15 or more on eBay. I only paid $4 for it. On top of that, but back in November, I also gotten a stack of Nintendo DS games that's easily worth around $15 - $25 each and I only paid $3 between $4 each. On the same day that I bought those DS games, I also found a Nintendo GameCube game and I only paid $6 (plus sale tax), it was a little bit more expensive, but the game was worth $60-$70 on it's own!!! So don't ignore video games entirely as you might find some pretty good values on them too if you did your research. :D

Thank you for your videos they’re very helpful. Also a good place to find used clothing to sell check eBay surprisingly some people are really desperate to sell a piece of clothing or they just don’t know how to price it so they sell something dirt cheap. I found a lularoe top I can’t remember exactly what style it was but I found one I bet it on it for $1.30 I’m guessing I can sell that for a lot more. I hear that the popular brand I actually have a pair leggings from that brand $1.30 with free shipping that’s what I bid it on. I just heard some of my girlfriends on Facebook mentioning that brand so I figure it’s a good brand and I could probably get more for it buys reselling it but I thought for $1.30 and free shipping that was actually a really good price and it still has the tag on it

Good thing you said something about bags and wallets that was something I was just trying to think about like I like bags and wallets but I’m not really good at finding good ones at a Goodwill I’ve been to a Goodwill trying to find a purse for myself and they were all pretty crappy like I couldn’t find any that I would want to use myself so it would be hard to find one that want to sell because to me they all look pretty disgusting the Goodwill by meet all the dirty falling apart none of them I’ve ever found out that great but I never really looked at wallets before that’s a good thing to look for I guess. There is I say that is because I live in a condo it’s very small so I don’t have room to store things I’m going to sell so wallets might be a good place for me to start I was thinking jewelry but I’m not good at knowing how to describe them. But I will take your tip on brands of wallets and purses to look for that I’m not good at some brands I’ll be like oh I know this brand that’s a good brand to me but I’ve never been that kind of person when it comes to buying stuff for myself the brand I don’t matter it’s the quality and the color and the style if it looks like it something I would wear that I would totally pick it up. But wallets might be a good place for me to start because that takes up less room to store it and just grabbing her wallet is a lot easier than just describing jewelry. But yes I should look at wallet to see if there’s any good ones. Purses might be a hard thing for me to do because I have never seen a good one that wasn’t dirty are falling apart at a Goodwill or any thrift store that I’ve never had good luck with so I can’t really do that unless I find one good they’re all crappy I’m being honest

It depends on the location and how much the manager knows about purse brands. I've bought Lilly Pulitzer, Michael kors, and Kate Spade (all authentic) at a specific goodwill because they don't seem as strict about what they put back for online sales when it comes to purses. They never let a piece of Pyrex slip by though!

Jewelry might be a good area to start with because it’s easy to store it and easy to ship it which is correct but I wouldn’t know what it is to describe it on eBay I wouldn’t know if it gold silver sterling what kind of bracelet it is or what kind of necklace it is or what it’s made with I wouldn’t know anything about that to put it on the listing on eBay. So that would be the part I couldn’t do I could describe it to people. Edit wouldn’t know what to price it out I can’t be like OK I’m gonna go eat and see what people are selling it for because I wouldn’t know what Ariel called to put in the search thing. But your video was very helpful. I do love going to the Goodwill so I thought why not go there by something that’s really good but a good price and then sell it for more kind a like flipping houses but you’re doing that with goodwill stuff. Although I forget that a goodwill does have jewelry. I thought that close I’ve looked at shoes books movies appliances like I’ve seen most everything I just forget jewelry as one of them. I have vinyl record players and then vinyl records are also good to sell if you can find them dirt cheap at a Goodwill which I don’t think you’re going to see them anymore at Goodwill because now they’re becoming really popular and if you do there still gonna be a lot of money so if you’re lucky to find records at a Goodwill for a good price there were selling but a lot of good wills don’t have them anymore because they became so popular recently

Best items to flip from goodwill to eBay.. ANYTHING that will make you a good profit if you’re patient enough! I’ve sold items I bought at goodwill and other thrift stores that have netted a $10 profit and items that netted over $300 profit. I’ve sold items that sit for a month or more and items that I’ve listed before going to bed that sold before I woke up. Look everything up, if you have time. Most of the things I’ve sold for huge profits are items a vast majority of people wouldn’t bother with.

So I have a wallet I think someone gave me years ago for Christmas and it just was not my style it never got used it as like a small white tag inside SS target and then has like a bunch of numbers. But other than that there’s no like price tag on it which would probably tell you the brand all I know is that there’s a small little white tag inside that you can’t take off and it just says Target and a bunch of numbers for all I know is it came from target but I don’t know the brand and I want eBay at least on the eBay app you can search for the item by typing it in or by the barcode or by taking a picture of the item and I took a picture of it but nothing came up so I don’t know the brand I just know Target so I don’t know how I would sell it on eBay do I just put Target wallet because I don’t know the brand I know where it was gotten out I think unless that person got it at a Goodwill or something and just happened to be something the person originally purchased it from target so that’s the downfall what comes with wallet I don’t know by looking at it what brand it is and less it’s an item I can take a picture of and put it on eBay and eBay can find it on eBay for me so I know the bread otherwise I can’t. EBay can’t find it from searching the actual picture of it that I don’t know what I’m going to sell it

Great video thx for the info! I’m a huge thrift addict but I avoid items made from animals. One thing I wanted to note is about leather and the cruelty involved. I used to buy leather and loved the smell until I found out how animals suffer. And it’s not just a by-product of meat industry there is demand, hence all brands who use it in their product line whether it be handbags, shoes, belts, wallets, furniture, jackets, coats, trinkets etc. Leather is everywhere and I don’t get how more of the GP is not outraged by what it is and how it’s made; not only is it cruel it is destructive to the environment via toxic chemicals in tanning process. I’m aware that PVC, polyurethane, etc are far from eco-friendly as well but at least with a synthetic option you don’t contribute to pain and suffering. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leather#From_other_animals

Goodwill selling on Ebay is disgusting and Gross. They are not qaulified sellers, items are not checked thoroughly or cleaned. They should not be allowed on that platform. They receive items for free, donate hardly anything to anyone in need, and drive prices down on legit items. Any of you supporting their ebay store are wrong.
