Spent 2.5 hrs sampling the 40n with the cd60 and two sets of b&w speakers. Streaming doesn’t always outshine CDs. In this case, the CDs sampled sounded better than streaming samples. It’s probably all in the resolution of the files available 👍

How does the Marantz 40n work with a pair of Dynaudio Evoke 20 speakers? I've read that speakers are quite needy that need a powerful amp to run, do you think this amp will handle those speakers? If not, what amp is required for Dynaudio Evoke 20? I really want to buy Dynaudio speakers, heard much good about those speakers and I kinda like the looks. I want to use them in my living room (around 20sqm or 215 sq feet) for listening to vinyl records, watching movies, and playing some games on PS5.

Hello, nice review, I want to ask, does this marantz have enough power for the Monitor Audio 300 6g speakers? The manufacturer recommends an amplifier with a power of 80-200w Marantz is 70w, As an alternative, I chose Rotel RB1552 mk2 120w plus eversolo dmp-6 master edition. What is the better choice for you? Thank you for your opinion

Hi, the Marantz will drive it because its high current so the power is not that important. But look at the Rotel RAS5000, i did a video on it not to long ago.

Why🤷‍♂️ it sounds bad, its unreliable…use wifi its the only way!
