Beautiful footage, I was fortunate enough to go all the way to Duck Pass/Lake last August, it was epic. Hiking over the pass was work though, but worth it. Keep the videos coming.

Wonderful video. Thanks for the tips and encouragement to explore some of the side trails. I have a multi-day hike planned for Duck Lake and this video will be really hellpful. BTW, you say you've been a nature photographer for 30 years? When did you start? When you were a fetus? Clearly you love what you do and it keeps you young. Looking forward to more.

Cheers, Thank you Gary. Yea I might have misspoke about the 30 years, but I was very fortunate to grow up in a photography driven family. Father was a photographer and helped run a film developing and print shop. So I always remember having a camera in my hands.

Nice video - its always great to see the places like this in the Eastern Sierra where I love to get my hike on. Its a gorgeous region for sure, but as a quick f.y.i. it's Skelton Lake, not Skeleton Lake.

Got equally frustrated watching this video seeing the signs that say Skelton but he KEEPS SAYING IT
