If you swing slow, you get a softer ball. Granted a ProV1 is the do-all ball but distance balls (i.e. callaway warbird) will go just as far but will NOT spin around the greens as much as a ProV1. There are trade offs.

I played a pink Callaway Chrome soft Truvis for 29 holes before I lost it, haha. It was the first time I tried a Callaway so it was a revelation for me. So nice feel with the wedges and I got a nice spin with the 9, 8, 7 irons. Flew just as long as any other ball with the driver.

Try the nitro ultimate, not the maximum distance. Just try to forget it's a nitro when you hit it 😂 I like how soft they are around the greens. I can compare them to Taylor made soft and the callaway super soft. The nitros outer core just doesn't last as long that's for sure..

I found one of the Callaway Truvis and used it to putt (thought it would look slick when rolling) and now its the only ball I use when I putt will be buying some to play a whole round with.

Having spent 9 years selling used and new golf balls, I can tell you that this is most ridiculous review I have ever seen! Titleist Velocity, Prov1 for slow swing speeds, NO!

I have been playing the kirkland balls for about a year now. I really like the price but I saw reviews that said they were a bit shorter off the tee. I found a maxfli softfli ball and on the first drive hit my longest drive an a hole that I have played nearly twice a week for a year. I was please to be able to get a 4 dozen box of these maxfli balls from ebay shipped for under 70 dollars. I am on my second sleeve and am very pleased. I really like both balls it is will be a hard decision once I need to get more golf balls.

Manufacturer's hype. A softer ball is best for slower swings, but don't pay $50 a dozen. Especially if you're a high handicapper.

TM Tour Response has less compression then tp5. I love it

Bridgestone has some of the best overall qualities( tried them all over the years) the new line-up are some of the most consistent, give them a try. No that my swing speed is slower I like Bridgestone E-6 best for my game.

I am in year two of playing golf and I have tried many different balls at this point and I have to say ball choice is not as important as learning how to hit the ball straight. Once you learn how to hit the ball straight regularly, then you might consider using different balls to sharpen your game. That said, start cheap.

I play maxifli soft or distance balls where do they rate ?

Have you reviewed the Superfast ball?

Also Srixon soft feel. Pro V1 is too high of compression

TP5 and Pro vs and Chrome soft are NOT for slow swing speed golfers.

Truvist çovers are the worse ball for scuffing and fading.

Callaway doesn’t deserve so many spots on this list. They’ve got issues with quality control allowing their core to be slightly off center on a portion of their balls. Bridgestone Tour B RX belongs at the top.

Pro V1 is DEFINITELY NOT a distance ball for a slow swing!!!!!!!!!!

Nitro............ha ha ha.......... this a joke right?........worst best ball list I've ever seen!

I learned nothing from this video. It was full of manufactures marketing gobbledygook, lumping balls of all different compression together which goes against the theory of low compression ball being better for lower swing speeds. It references nothing about how far each ball will go under tests of varying swing speeds and doesn't mention anything about feel. Thumbs down on this one.
