Titleist ProV Left- (100 compression)?? For a slow swing player, that's like hitting a rock!! I'm a slower swing senior and have played the Titleist Tour Soft for years!! Living in Florida, I do play the Callaway SuperSoft and Srixon SoftFeel in winter, when temps drop below 60º.

no, you can find a TP5, chromesoft, zstar, or pro v1. and if your club head speed is under 80mph... it'll be like you hitting a rock. you need a soft feel, super soft, trufeel, or soft response ball.

Whoever is saying an average playet cannot improve their game with a different ball is incorrect. Over the last 10 years with new brands coming out, I've seen several golfers do better simply with a ball that matches their swing speed, all things equal. Otherwise, there would only be one type of ball or everyone would be hitting PV1's. Players select clubs and shafts to fit their game, golf balls should too.

I've never seen an average golfer improving its golf score because he changed his ball brand. An average golfer plays with the balls he founds on the course and he shots as badly with a Titless pro V1 or a Wilson staff because his issu is not the ball but his technic. Only bad faith guys or bad sellers argue to the contrary in my opinion.

Disagree. Whilst the stuff that can be captured by statistical analysis might have marginal benefit to an average to below average golfer, a ball that gives you CONFIDENCE on and around a green can make an immense difference. I choose a ball based on that psychological dimension. In that regard, I really struggle to gain confidence with very soft or very hard balls...the 'click' has to be just right

@@michaelfreeman1634 If you had bothered to read my comment, you'll probably notice that I was not talking of "soft" or "hard" ball, but only "brand". However, if you're are superstitious, you may need the same ball, of the same color, placed the same way to feel confident. Some others pray, some keep a lucky charm in their pocket. Why not, as long as you feel better. There's no place for comment on the score card. The only thing that matters is to enjoy golf.

you don't understand. a low compression ball gives low swing speed (under 80mph club speed) way more distance then a 90 compresssoin (IE: TP5, pro v1, chromesoft, z star tour, kirkland, and such). so if you're swinging under 80mph club speed (not everyone can test or know their speed) but if you're swinging slow and hitting a high compression rock like a PRO V1, your ball is just going to ding off the club. but if you have a low compression. it'll compress and help take off from the club face. and we all know soft golf balls have chepaer covers and will never have backspin like a urethane cover... if you have a low swing speed and can afford 60 dollars/ dozen, try the vice pro soft. it's a low compression with the urethane cover. but for me, where money isn't the problem, i'm still going to buy callaway super softs, cause my swing speed just isn't high. maybe i'll go to the gym and get healthier and bring my swing speed closer to 100 mph over 90mph and hit my pro v1s or chromesofts better.

Regarding your question about the Wilson Duo golf ball, the low compression core of this ball is designed to be easier to compress during impact, which can assist golfers with slower swing speeds to achieve better distance and accuracy. However, it is important to note that while some golfers with slower swing speeds may find the Wilson Duo to be a good option, it may not be suitable for everyone. One potential drawback is that the Wilson Duo ball may not provide the level of control some golfers are looking for, particularly for those with more experience who might be seeking a ball that allows them to shape their shots or achieve greater spin control around the green. Additionally, the low compression core of the Wilson Duo ball makes it more sensitive to wind, which can lead to decreased accuracy and control for golfers with slower swing speeds. Overall, the best golf ball for each golfer will depend on their individual needs and preferences. It's always a good idea to try out different types of golf balls to determine which one works best for you.
