My esential custom follower is, ma'kara from khajiit will follow and michael the red(this one is nordic and no voiced just vanilla)

Sofia is fun, but has a couple problems. 1: She likes to glue herself to your backside or even rams into you. This often sends you off a cliff or bridge. 2: You come across a bandit stronghold. Your decision to try a stealth approach like casting a few frenzy spells to make the bandits wipe each other out gets tossed aside as Sofia goes full Leeroy Jenkins and charges in.

@@jamcogaming1631 Oh! I used to play guitar years ago but haven't picked one up in ages. Will need to get back into music when I have learnt a little more game development. Mostly concentrating on modding stuff at the moment. Been doing a little animation and am always playing with MMD models to dance with in DXR. Learnt so much over the last few years and I have only scratched the surface of all I hope to master.

@@glenrisk5234 well I would like to provide some lessons explaining the cage system and how to find notes easily to determine the key you are in scale work and easy melody improvisations. To help people start up guitar again as I have taught this stuff to students for 2 years.

VIlja is also not here and she was the most highly developed. But Rigmor is not really a follower but a dlc sized quest addon like enderal and Elswyr, But its one of the best I still love it

What mod?

Vilja is by FAR the most complete and comprehensive follower mod for Skyrim, by a country mile. Anyway, how does one download from the other site listed here, that Acalypha is on? She is not on the Nexus, she SHOULD be, but is not. What mod manager do I need, will one work, how do I get her? She seems dope. Edit: Aviendha is the single most anti-climatic, disappointment in follower history. She has some substance and depth during the WoT quest.....SOME.... but loses it all to become just a generic follower, voiced by someone unfamiliar at the end of it.

@@albertmilton9424 In-complete-igo's story is still not finished after what, more than half a decade? Not even close. Indigo is not fast travel friendly: Fast travel everywhere between open world points after recruiting him, and never get his map market. Indigo requires you initiate conversations whilst relaxing to get affinity enough for his Summon spell: Don't pay him enough attention and never get it. Indigo has no home allocation ability at all: He lives in a cell in Riften, then in an isolated cabin in the mountains. The nature of these three things, I was told directly, by Inigos creation team, are because they work for how you're meant to play Inigo! Bitch please! A GOOD custom follower, like say Remiel, accommodates how YOU want to play! It does not fail in critical gameplay areas, unless you play how the creator wants you to be playing to get the most out of their creation. You know who doesn't do that? VILJA. Emma, her creator, made her accommodating for ALL players. And SHE is complete and finished So, no, sorry, Inigo is a long fucking way from complete, and not even on the same level as Vilja in terms of gameplay functionality. Sorry, simple fucking fact!

@@Apis4 Inigo is complete as far as the main story goes and he comments on every major faction and sidequest in the vanilla game. He also has never had a problem fast-traveling with me, and his story easily unfolds as you play the main quest. Sounds like you have a bias, which is fine, but Vilja (who I think is impressive as a mod btw) isn't objectively better. The Interesting NPCs also give her a run for her money considering the intertwined storylines for almost all of the followers that span the map

@@albertmilton9424 Inigos ma8n quest itself JUST ENDS Viljas doesn't. Did you fast travel out of Riften, with Inigo? I did. Then fast traveled from objective to objective, rode wagons occasionally. When I dismissed Inigo, after three hours playing...he disappeared. Not in his cell. I was told use his MARKER....but I NEVER GOT IT. Once I laid our precisely what I did, from picking him up, to disappearing...I was told "Well yeah, you have to travel with him a little in the open world, not our fault you didn't". You know who doesn't? Who pesters you to talk, then gives you a summon, and gets a marker automatically after her introductory mission? Vilja (and tons of others). Inigos story evolves, if you engage him whilst on down time in a place he can relax. He will eventually gain affinity, and bring things up...iirc, but if you're not building the thing, by actively giving him attention...nah. takes a long time. That also means it takes forever to get his teleport summon. Vilja... ...and Remiel, and Xelzaz, and Sofia and Recorder even, and a ton of others...again, actively try to trigger progress, by engaging you the player at each affinity marker. Vilja not only has more depth of story, and a longer one, than almost any follower, as simple as it is, not only has more dialogue trees than just about any other follower, but has whole functionality, gameplay wise, that few match, because not only does she have a malleable nature in terms of no forcing you to play a certain way, not only does she facilitate your playing as you wish, by coming with critical gameplay commands, she gives you do much versatility by giving you these things in DUPLICATE, through powers AND in world objects. All the while not only with full quest awareness, and world awareness too, but with a complete story of her own that IS FINISHED, and additional world engagement (think her duets with Lydia, or Mercurio banter), no other follower has matched in seven years. So if I'm judging by which one is gameplay friendly to ALL playstyles, and is made with the awareness, WE the player are the STAR, the HERO, and a follower should SERVE US, not require WE modify OUR play... ...which I DO, and think everyone should, then Vilja proved light years ahead of Inigo and any other follower. Though Remiel comes a close second, and the relative newcomer Daegon is shaping up to challenge them both. Inigo falls well short. Perhaps when I actually SEE Inigo V.3 , as more than a promise on the wind, in which some of my critiques are supposedly to be addressed, I might reconsider. Until then, Inigo is great, a fun pet Khajiti, but is not close to the complete follower, sorry.

@@Apis4 Yeah, like I said, I have never had a problem fast-traveling with Inigo, ever, from anywhere, and that's not an exaggeration. His summon spell can be obtained in about an hour. His story doesn't "end" any more than any other character's does. it has room for future content, which has taken years to develop because it contains fully voiced NPCs and a worldspace as big as Solstheim. The dev diaries for Inigo show it all. By that logic Serana's story JUST ENDS, too. He's great and most people seem to agree with that take, idk. Vilja is an aquired taste at best when it comes to the way she is written and acted and her story just...well, let's just say it's not why people respect the Vilja mods so much. They are impressive pieces of work on a technical level and because of the author's dedication...And Inigo was inspired by that. Whatever, you don't like him, cool. The reason I offered a counterpoint in the first place is because Vilja just isn't superior to other followers anymore. Inigo is one example. Interesting NPCS are another. Personally, I don't need lengthy contrived romances with my followers, so once you get past that there are TONS on the nexus right now with storylines and really solid voice acting. Vilja was good for her time but she's been dethroned for years.

Vilja is lightyears ahead of ANY custom follower, even today, six years after he release on SSE. The only follower to come even CLOSE to Vilja, is Remiel, she does not match Vilja in terms of depth, but is the first to be as close to complete... and she came out last year. THAT is how epic Vilja is, took years for a follower to even come close. She still sets the bar, and has not been matched yet, even now.

Sony does not allow third party assets on their servers. Some of the Nexus followers are on Xbox, but you will never see them on PlayStation as they normally all use custom coding, for their AI packages, custom scripts for many of their functions, and animations for them too, custom voice assets, and custom clothing, as well as custom spells or weapons. Unless it made BY the game developer, or Sony's own employees, it is banned from Sony's servers. So unless Bethesda themselves take over control of one of these mods and put in the Creation Club, you are sh*t outta luck, sorry. Considering that Sony had this position BEFORE they were infamously subjected to a major hacking event, there is basically NO WAY EVER, this policy is likely to be reversed, either. I am big PS fan, have been since the original PlayStation dropped. I think the graphics trump both Nintendo and Microsoft, I think the UI at 'in the hand', controller level, is superior to all other gaming control mechanisms, and they have the best games... generally speaking. But I bought a 3k gaming PC two years ago... over specced to the max so as it wont be obsolete for another two or three years, with my overkill chip and graphics cards power... JUST to play inferior old games, which can be made a millions times better than anything they had been, or many new games, just like Skyrim (and the Sims 2)... PURELY FOR MODS, because SONY wont let me have anything but the most basic vanilla asset mashups, or custom content, actually adopted by Bethesda and added to the Creation Club. It is really sad, in fact.

@@apricotmadness4850 I dont know. I update the SMD to Raedeon 7 or 8? Recently. It's got like 32 Gig Ram, 10GB graphics, 900w PSU, 2 TB HD with 500GB SCSI hd too, and like, four fans lol. I don't know anything about it. My mate made it for me. I have been a console gamer for four decades. But I hear that's pretty good specs. It automatically sets the graphics to ultra, and any orher processing options to high, on any game I play. I really only play Skyrim though. Prefer consoles for all other games.
