  If you see a grayed out Preset option, this is due to the plugin not loading, typically meaning incompatible game version. You need to make sure F4se and looksMenu matches your game version.

  Press “R” ? It didn’t bring the present menu, it did nothing. I launched it via the vortex fo4 script launcher as usual. Got a preset of Lucy. Doesn’t show up. Would appreciate help. Thx.

  make sure you LAUNCH with f4se_loader.exe in your Fallout 4 install directory. I was having the same issue.

  @@nzuraw i also had the “looks menu customization compendium” mod. Ever since i delete that, everything was okay. Idky but it just works. You can try that tho

  Just straight up doesn't work for me. The preset part is always greyed out no matter how many times i ensure the .Json files are where they need to be.

  Sofia is fun, but has a couple problems. 1: She likes to glue herself to your backside or even rams into you. This often sends you off a cliff or bridge. 2: You come across a bandit stronghold. Your decision to try a stealth approach like casting a few frenzy spells to make the bandits wipe each other out gets tossed aside as Sofia goes full Leeroy Jenkins and charges in.

  I find that all the tutorials forget the most important point. After you copy the file into the folder. Go into the game again, Mod Management - select each mod and enable it. The game will reload and the mod will take effect.

  I copied the Lana json file to my data directory where I found every single other mod. Followed every step here and I have the looksmenu R greyed out. Can’t figure it out. I have everything I guess I’m just not meant to use that face preset. Even on my vortex plug-ins it doesn’t show up but my mod section says it’s installed and enabled.

  @@toflo54 I got a face preset called Shannon and other mods that made her look gorgeous. If you want I can tell you what mods I’m using because honestly my character looks insanely good.

  VIlja is also not here and she was the most highly developed. But Rigmor is not really a follower but a dlc sized quest addon like enderal and Elswyr, But its one of the best I still love it

  Double check if you need to make the presets folder yourself that you don't name it preset instead of presets you can just alt tab and rename it with out restarting your game

  you need to down grade your game, there are mods to do so and plenty of tutorials also "slm player 1" command works just the same way i find this one to be alot easier to remember
