Hi. Due for a cataract eye surgery soon What I dont un- detstand is. First DR told me I would be better off not having surgery as it may end up like my mess up one in right eye before which I had to have 2 operation. The 2 DR told me my cattaract was at back of eye. The third DR told me it's nerve & there can be complications. My sight in left eyes is getting worse & dont k now what to do. Can you help?

Paul Diamond 0 seconds ago I was scheduled for surgery to replace the cataract damaged lenses in both eyes. With my wife, I changed to eating a plant based diet, recommended by my DO. After a month, the osteo arthritis pain I suffered in my toes, plantar, heels, ankles, knees, elbows, wrists and fingers (each confirmed by xray images) disappeared. Almost a year after going plant based diet, my cataracts cleared in both eyes. I phoned the optometrist and requested a new vision test before my scheduled cataract surgery. She agreed. After the new exam, she cancelled the cataract surgery for my eyes! - It was a big step to give up all meat, dairy, processed foods, oils, etc. But, the rewards to me far exceed the compromises. (Age 74!)

I just figured out I may have prediabetes, stopped eating carbs, (never ate sugars) and my vision in fact improved. eating lots of fish and eggs may also have helped. basically i had monocular diplopia which was probably caused by swelling in the eyeball caused by too much blood sugar.

The matter is that many vegetables (fruit, greens) are chemically processed, which is harmful for our organism in general. Moreover, you can eat everything if you have no problems with your digestive tract. Very useful video, thanks. A very pretty doctor!
