Another great mower review! I bought the Simpli Glide 330 after watching your review and it's the best mower I've ever used! I also bought the Flymo Mini Trim ST after seeing your review of that too, and it really comes in handy for the hard to reach places in my garden!

I've got one of those that's almost 20yrs old. I've been trying to modify it to use strimmer wire instead of the crap plastic blades. Not only does wire last longer but it potentially increases cutting diameter and is more forgiving on paving stones etc... Cracking mower, shit and costly cutting tech

@DADDELIVERS take the blade mount disk off completely and drill 3x 3mm holes into the spindle. Then thread 3mm heavy duty strimmer cable through them with a knot on the end. 3x knots fit perfectly in the middle of the spindle. So far working like a treat!

This is 💩. I did not ment the video but this product is apsolute crap.

Thanks for the comment - this felt really underpowered until I put all the spacers on and it really really helped - much shorter cut now, it actually cuts the grass! Hope this helps

Lol...i just bought the flymo turbo lite 270 & i had the exact same problems with that daft wrench & that bolt...ok i understand the bolt has to be tight as god only knows the accidents that could happen if it didn't tighten properly...i am a 52 year old female, i have dexterity problems & fibromyalgia & yes i guess I'm a little puny but i just donned my gloves & kept prizing anticlockwise ( lefty loosey---righty tighty sprung to mind)...i got there in the end, put the 3 spacers on & away i went...£80 from Argos & i have a 40 by 30 foot double sided not completely flat front garden, slightly smaller back garden & it tore through it, the built in fan helps to stop the motor overheating...god only knows how long it will last, i got the usual 2 year flymo garauntee...years ago my very very old reliable flymo easi-glide lasted 17 year...they don't make things the same nowadays but if i get a good 5 year or more I'd be happy...you're doing a good job with your channel reviews. .

Thank you for taking time out of your day to reply...& same good luck in all your shenanigans whether it be gardening, house reno or otherwise...you're really pleasant to watch & listen to...your adhd video...I scored high in that test as well, getting a diagnosis here especially at my tender age 52 ( ahem )...is nigh on impossible...Still I'd love to know that all my years of knowing hand on heart that my working, but sometimes wacky brain wasn't just all to do with the fact I was lazy at times or a procrastinator...keep going you're doing well & you're insightful.
