i had the exact model i loved it the issue is a pain check if there are any washers under the nut or if the plastic around the nut has split

We bought a Flymo a bit back. First it tried to electrocute me then i repaired the safety switch and it electrocuted me again then went up in puff of smoke. Went to LIdl bought the cheapest mower they had and it is 100 times better!

The quality is shit but does the job. I took mine out a few weeks ago to mow the lawn and found not working. I've had it for nearly 10 years

There is actually an easy fix under the nuts and bolts I would suggest you to look and see if there's any washers because where you connect the handle to the mower that should be set of washers and grip the handle properly

Dave start a _GoFundMe_ campaign and buy a ride on lawnmower. You deserve it M8. Those 12hr shifts must be killer, and then you have to come home and mow the lawn. Not fair M8! just not fair. 😎😎😎

Nowt wrong with our flymo had it for years still not replaced the blade yet

Bosch Rotaks are shite. From experience, they’re made to last about a few months after the warranty expires and then to the tip. Definately not German quality at all!

I've got 2 40 year old petrol steel mowers given to me from an old abandoned house they'd been sitting there rusting for years, restored them and they cut better than any electric or modern mower out there

my experience of Flymos is the handles go first on all flymo makes. I'm sure they make them shit so you have to buy spares.

Take off the bracket, put some tape round the bar and then re put the bracket on and tighten up the bolts. If it still waves round like a pig's dick then belt it down the road for the scrap man

Flymo have stopped making this mower for a reason, absolute crap! I have the model they replaced it with (hovervac 250) and needless to say, it’s pretty good!

Firstly BVM you have bought one of the shittiest flymos they have made. From what I remember it takes about 40 seconds to make one of those (I used to work there) secondly go direct to flymo themselves they have replacements parts available. They are actually a half decent company
