My face begins to glow as soon as after I wash my face with riceeberry face wash by litttleextra. Then, I use just vitamin c serum and moisturizer, and it all set. It's important to pick the correct face wash else you won't achieve the glow you want.

I have tried this rice berry face wash before and in my opinion, it's among the top face washes I've ever tried. It removes the dirt and excess oil off my skin and doesn't dehydrate skin. The reason behind it produces less lather due to the fact that they don't use sulphates to generate additional foam like other brands.

I have tried to use others and to change, but I have always came back to my Vichy Purete thermale 3 in 1.💞 That's true love! 💖

Hello Dr Idriss, firstly thank you for your videos, I've learned a lot about skin and cosmetics ingredients. My favourites are: Perfectly Clean Multi-Action Foam Cleanser (Estee Lauder), Liquid Facial Soap (type 2 by Clinique) - washing cleaners Make-up removers: Bi-facil (Lancome), One step Facial Cleanser with orange extract (Clarins), Hudrabio H2O (Bioderma). But my routine is reversed - under shower I clean my face with a washing cleanser (and a Foreo) and then the leftovers of my make-up with the make-up remover. I don't know how wrong is that, it just works better for me. Afterwards I often use rose water all over my face and love it.

I'm 40 years old and I've been experiencing break outs. I've tried every product to treat acne and nothing has worked. My dermatologist prescriped retina A. When I first started with retina A I was using different types of cleaners and finally found a product that works amazing. It removes my eye make-up (I only use eye shadow, liner, and mascara), and the serums and moisturizer. Plus it doesn't leave my face squeaky clean. It's also soap free which I like. The product is La Roche-Posay: Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Cleanser. I ❤️❤️❤️ it.

My favorite 2-in-1 for years has been Neutrogena Fresh Foaming Cleanser. Periodically I try recommendations I come across, but I keep coming back to this one because it's so effective and cheap (under $6). I feel I don't need a second cleanse because I've followed with a toner and cotton pad before and didn't see anything to warrant that additional step. I have combination skin and it does start to feel dry if I don't follow soon after with a moisturizer, but I've experienced that with every single cleanser.

Love all your videos! Thank you so much! I have a photoallergic reaction to chemical sunscreens so I must use mineral sunscreens which are hard to wash off my face. I recently added in Paula's Choice Oil Cleanser and that has helped so much! And then I added in micellar water after seeing it in your videos. So now I triple cleanse: Bioderma micellar water, Paula's Choice oil cleanser (I apply it to a dry face), then Paula's Choice Clear Pore Normalizing Cleanser (part of her acne line) right on top of the oil cleanser. The triple cleanse seems to get most of the sunscreen off my face, so I'm not so reluctant to apply it. I now plan to wear sunscreen even in the winter to protect myself from the UVA rays.

TY! I have been using Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser for years at my dermatologist's recommendation (it has a ph of 7). I have dry to normal, sensitive skin. I don't use any products with fragrance or essential oils. The cleaner can be drying if you use too much product (as it foams. Many people on retinoids complain that it is too drying). It doesn't take off makeup or water-resistant sunscreen. I was getting to a point where my face wasn't liking it but I started pairing it with Apothaka EO-free oil cleanser (the founder is a friend and I was super skeptical and afraid of oil cleansers. It is the only one of dozens I have tried that doesn't irritate me. Go figure) and the two together perform magic. The oil makes the Vanicream cleanser less drying. Make-up and my hardcore suncreen disappear at night (I wash my face with water in the morning). I am very lucky (genes) that I have very clear skin but I think since I have been using this combo, my skin is even better and I spend less time in my derm's chair. I follow up cleansing with a retinol at night (I can't tolerate a retinoid) and Vanicream Cream (at my derm's rec. I don't need a lot. I also use the cream on my body). I am not a fan of Vanicream's light lotion or their new lotion with ceramides. Both make me hot and bothered and break me out. The same goes for Cerave hydrating Cleanser and La Roche Posay's Toleraine Dermo Milky Cleanser.

Philosophy purity creamy cleanser is amazing. The “original” one. It takes everything off. And if the first wash didn’t, then try a second wash. It’s very hydrating for dehydrated skin types. Leaves my skin baby soft and very toned. Removes all makeup and sunblock. And I always use a toner after. But love this cleanser. I have acne prone dehydrated skin. Never breaks me out.

Finally, someone who recommends products available in my country 😂 I have a question doc Idriss. I was sharing my skincare routine on KZread the other day and I mentioned I spray my face with rose water between products (cleanser/serum/moisturizer 1/moisturizer 2). I always heard this helped the products being better and deeper absorbed, and that it helps hydrating the skin. However, someone replied saying spraying your face between moisturizers doesn't do anything because moisturizer 1 will have occlusives that prevent moisturizer 2 from being absorbed, and someone else commented that spraying your face doesn't do anything at all because the only time putting water on the face works is in the shower, because your face has been submerged for a bigger quantity of time. Is this true? Am I just wasting product and not helping my skin at all? Thanks in advance!

Hi!! My two favourite products are Biotherm Biosource Total Renew Oil and Oskia London Renaissance Cleansing Gel. They are both double cleansers in one product: first, you apply the "oil" and massage it onto the skin, and then with wet fingers, you create some foam. I find that they both are great and they leave an amazing sence!

I am 60 years old and although my skin is not sensitive, it is very dry. I find that the Vanicream cleanser is gentle on my skin and does not strip it. I don't often wear makeup, but when I do, I use Micellar water or cleansing oil/balm to get rid of it and then follow with the Vanicream. It works perfectly. I'm tickled to see that you recommended my favorite second step cleanser. It works as body wash as well and doesn't irritate certain sensitive areas.

But, for the tipsy days, I have 2 trusted friends that I know gets everything off :1 The inkey list fulvic acid one, it literally cleans the heck out of my makeup but still leaves it soft; and 2. Neutralize with salicylic and mandelic acid, super cheap and I order this one from amazon. I love this cleanser and my oily combo sensitive rosacea skin does too. P.S. I have been using these interchangeable on my mom to test it out and her normal/dry skin likes these also :)

Then wash with Olay sensitive foaming cleanser (I know I’ve read that foaming cleanser is bad but it’s one that has not irritated my skin… Looking at you Cerave and purpose 😜). I have to thank Doctor Idriss for inadvertently turning me into a LRP fanatic! My default cleanser is the Toleriane creamy one. I don't think we have the Medicated Gel Cleanser in Europe but the Effaclar 2% Salicylic is amazing - obliterates small pimples, heals acne scars and leaves the skin satin-smooth. Not quite as gentle as the Toleriane obviously but doesn't strip the skin either. My favourite winter cleanser though is the Yves Rocher Sensitive vegetale cream. Very rich and makes the skin positively velvety.
