Dim sum (點心) translates literally to "touching heart", the term used to designate the small food items that accompanied the tea drinking (yum cha) culture originated from the city of Guangzhou, China in the tenth century. Nowadays, we enjoy a huge variety of different types of mini-food, both sweet and savoury, served in steam baskets or small plates. Since they are small in size, you could try out different types of food available in the dim sum menu.
Foo Hing Dim Sum in Puchong and Subang Jaya serve up dim sum everyday at 7am, they make their dim sum fresh everyday and it is a dim sum heaven over here! They have all sorts of dumplings, deep-fried delights, steamed buns on their menu, but I truly love their Portuguese Egg Tart, beautiful flaky puff pastry with an incredibly yummy egg custard, it's really the star of the show! Come try them out!

The Xiao Loong Bao is so cute! Mini baos with soup inside. Looks yummy and interesting. Chinese chefs are really skillful. Making dim sum requires lots of patience 💯😋
Really loved dimsum. Har gow, xiaolongbao, and siew mai are my favourite. Dimsum comes best with tea and char siew bao.

We’re glad you liked the video! What’s your favourite dim sum dish? 😌
My family and I loves Dim sum that we almost have it at least once a week. There’s a pretty good dim sum place near my area in Melbourne.
I miss it early Jan 2022 when there was a long queue. Should try some other time when I go to punching. Thks.

Haha there's always a long queue here, especially on weekends. You're welcome, James! 😊
I have not been to this. Shall try it someday. Thank you for recommending this Dim Sum place
those egg tarts look so good especially the crust on them and slightly burnt colour
Not sure about it being the BEST Dim Sum in KL but the price is affordable and its Portuguese Egg Tart is very good. But I'm pretty sure there are much better Dim Sum place in KL though it may not be at these pricing.

Hi Shu Teng! I agreed that the price is worth it for its quality. But I think I just found another Portuguese egg tart better than Foo Hing's. It's the thick egg tarts at Oriental Kopi. Do give that a try haha

Thanks Pt for the visit 😊 Nothing fancy, just an old version Nikon that I had for years haha
My favourites would be Siu Mai, Har Gow & Xiao Loong Bao! 😋
Is it better than Ritz Carlton, St. Regis, Hyatt and Intercontinental?

Haha of course can't compare to those high-end hotels/chains. You're paying really expensive dim sum and getting really high-quality dim sum. This Foo Hing dim sum is considerably affordable for it's good quality too.
Best is a relative word. Have you tried the dim sum in the 5 star hotels?
@ohmyfood295

Haha cannot compare, I'm sure the dim sum in 5 star hotels are really good but definitely not cheap as well
Haha you’re right about the third teacup. It’s always scorching hot to drink the first two cups of tea.
Both Foo Hing Dim Sum branches, in Puchong and USJ are always crowded, especially on the weekends.
I'm always amazed how you two ladies can eat so much haha...
