15 mins of Alderic desperately trying to make up for choosing SG nasi lemak over Msia's as the best🤣
@Pandaeyebag

to be fair that 1 nasi lemak was very premium

I ate countless good nasi Lemak in Msia. Not once in Spore (countless tries...). Well,... I will seek out that only one I miss 😅😅
I see you talk, I know that you're a real food critic compared to other content creators. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

Come over soon
@alderic: Haiyah... watched your video ... got hungry again... but cannot just fly to M'sia on a whim tonight! thanks for another enjoyable video, mate. If we cannot call you "Uncle Alderic" ... How about "Abang Alderic" for all your effort to promote good food in MY? (In this regard ... Malaysia Boleh!) ...p/s: Did you miss any must-have's, that deserve a Part 2 "Akan datang" ?
The wife and I are going back to Malaysia this October. We are addicted...not only to Malaysian food, but to Malaysia as a whole. In fact, we plan to move there when we retire, but I digress... If you have any insights or insider tips about authentic Malaysian food, please share. We'll be out there, adventuring and exploring, but it would be nice to have some points of reference, and must-visit places. Thanks.
interesting choices of food, I also took surprise by the uncommon recommedations! However the bakuteh doesn't look Malaysian enough.... please do another justice on klang bakuteh next time hopefully if you coming KL again ^^
i was originally planning on visiting singapore for food but it seems i may have to change that to malaysia

Malaysia has good quality food but they're far apart. If you're short on time, Singapore is the better choice due to its small size. Above average food from anywhere in the world can be found and reached within minutes. Not to mention hawker centers where you could find and taste almost everything in one spot. Oh, and if you have a weak stomach then Singapore is definitely the better choice for food 😉

Come to the state of Kelantan & Terengganu, especially if you hunting for Malay food...do some research...trust me...food heaven...
I like how you end every video. Very creative. Also glad you had a good trip to KL
This is just Kuala Lumpur… wait till you explore the other states… welcome to come Sarawak and it’s a different game here also 🥂
New Alderic drops are the main reason i have for living. Thanks for everything mate.
Sate Kajang Hj Samuri - really good satay chain... just had a bunch today! Restoran Meng Kee Char Siew - another really good char siew spot, used to also be st Jln Alor but that branch has closed for a decade or two. the crunch of the caramelized crust, thick black sticky marinade the the perfect 1/3 fat, 2/3 meat ratio... for BKT I'm sorry but u have to travel to klang for that... Hot Bird Damansara Uptown. is super popular for their fried chicken, super long queues, supposedly good... ive not tried due to insane queues.
im going to fly to kl just to follow your video's foodsteps and eat them chronologically
this is the Best Video Ive Ever Watched
Maybe some jb recommendations? As it is closer to home...😅
Great episode!

thanks for the support!
great video
need more spin off episodes like this !
damn....this makes me wanna go to KL....
theres a ramly burger near the satay stall there. before they made the food court style area, the satay was sold at the parking lot opposite the burger joint. that area righht there back in dec 2022, was the best food ive ever eaten in my life
deserves more views
Wong Mei Kee roast pork is heavenly

… is heavenly overpriced with so so taste roast pork only.
Alderic, please do a best chilli pan mee/ pan mee episode!!
I actually just landed in KL yesterday when this video came out.
🎉🎉
Steady la bro "datang lagi" to KL ❤
i literally was trying to find a video like this
That P5 outro slaps! 👌
For satay perhaps u can consider Bali Nice in Khatib. Pretty close to the best carrot cake in Singapore. For char siew 88 Hong Kong Roast, pretty expensive though. Are you a persona 5 fan? (referencing the life will change music at the end)
If you want good bak kut teh, you should go to klang. But it's quite far though
I think the Pudu michelin bin gourmand bak lut teh and the claypot chicken rice is worth the journey
Why no go Hamdan’s Roti Canai!!!!! 😭😭 that one confirm BIEH Everything else looks great 😭❤️
wanna try JB? in my opinion, the best nasi lemak berlauk (slightly diff style of the ordinary one) & best satay. What else? the best hakka thunder rice & the best yong tau fu...
You missed out the signature at Hing Kee, need to book one. Is called Wong Tai Kuat (Emperor Bones), where it’s a different soup base with Chinese wine. Wahhhh that’s the best.
Just from the looks of it,, quite a complete miss with Heng Kee BKT. Needed more time to boil the soup. Surprised they served that up 😢
You shall try Kim Tek BKT at Taman Kepong Indah. No regret!
And…. Where does Alderic get his t shirts from???
Tanglin Nasi Lemak 35mins queue
First. ❤❤
Bless you alderic, you said SUPPOSEDLY instead of SHO-pposedly.
if u doing ban mian, I nominate 456 mhk at 59 new upper Changi Rd and Seletar 生面 (TPY L8 OG stall)
Wa alamak. I was just In kl couple weeks ago. Well there's only one option... *cue disco night*
Trivia time.. For Kin kin pan mee there is a 'rumour' that the father and son are always arguing with each other .. And after their pan mee got famous.. Along came the copy cat..... And if you want to try good Malay food.. You should go Kelantan and try their fried chicken and sweet desserts... If you want good Chinese food.. Ipoh and Penang is where you should go... You should go melaka to eat peranakan food..
Yugioh Passionate Duelist BGM???
@8:27: Blue eyes white dragon BGM!!! 😍😍

Waow, this is so informative. I visit malaysia frequently, so getting detailed insights on good foods that can only be found in Malaysia is fantastic. Maybe you can do different parts of Malaysia? Malacca? Also where do u ask for the recommendations?

🎉New vid!
brother drank the biggest gulp of beer and went, 'meh not for me'. nice
Based on my past experience Alderic, any stall owner that has attitude similar to Zaini's Satay owner most of the time their food gonna be good 😂. Because they know people will coming back for the food even though the owner has that kind of attitude.
I have this habit of creating a list of 3 items of MUST Eat / Drink (F&B) that is unique to that country. So every new country that you visit, pen down 3 items to recommend.. it's so satisfying to compile this and share with your friends 😊
Alderic is a persona fan??
Me 16 mins ago: Nah, I’d never go to Kuala Lumpur. Me now: Desperately looking for tickets to Kuala Lumpur Another great video from you Alderic, thank you and keep up the good work.
char siew yoong is good but dam bloody expensive...
WHERE IS LAKSA?!! That's also one of the famous REAL Malaysian food. We got variety of laksa tho, laksa kedah, laksa penang, laksa johor, laksa sarawak & so on but my fav are laksa kedah & laksa sarawak. You should definitely try it next time in your next trip to Malaysia.
If you love fried Chicken, i mean marinated fried chicken with spices...try dish called Nasi Kukus Ayam Goreng Berempah...this is Malay rice dish originated from Kelantan state...do your research where to find the best one in KL...

I've been living in Malaysia (KL) for over 20 years, had countless ayam goreng berempah and I've never had an amazing one. To me, it just tastes bitter, mostly overcooked and dry. Quality matches its price tho.

@@raymondreyes9881 sorry to ask...where are you from?
@raymondreyes9881
7 күн бұрын
@@Xeras10 Does it even matter where I'm from? What matters is that I have vast experience tasting fried chicken from all over the world, a lot in Malaysia too. And that particular fried chicken variant is just simply the worst (reasons stated). Anyway, it's just my opinion and I fully understand it's a cheap budget option for the masses. There are good ones like from Village Park and Burung Hantu but the majority of the others are just not my cup of tea.
There is one pan mee shop opposite Restoran Kin Kin.. It's better I guess... hahahaah
It's halal chicken meat, that is why it is sweet!
You encounter the Bieh, you have to pack up and move to Malaysia leh. However, that BKT did not look good at all. Please search out Klang BKT, don't have to go to Klang to get it.

fried chicken s2??
Who is the person in the previous video's comment that told me Singaporean don't eat Pan Mee; instead they only eat Bak Chor Mee?
Malaysia have bad roads , bad salary ,bad leader . But our food is really god tier .
hmm why does your mike sound so muffled?
@Alderic.

you're referring to the main voice over part right? may I know what device are you using to view this? I'm trying to get my sound equalizing right at the moment. some viewers have told me that the bass sounds a bit muddy.
Bruh…BKT need to go Klang
Bro don’t put red border around your video. At first glance look like the video has been watched cuz of the red bar below. Scared this affect your views.
@Alderic.

thanks for letting me know!
Try Melaka pork satay .. it has a savoury marinade which I prefer than those sweet kind I bought a bottle of Village Park Sambal and added some of it to my Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak.. even more shiok..it was less sweet and more depth
Nasi lemak Hantu JB, another BIEH
okay... alderic doesnt drink. period! haha,
14:44 Malaysian chickens taste better umami because they are fed MSG 🤪

Yes, i agreed, just ask uncle roger😂
Aiyo pls la. If you're not eating BKT in Klang then it's not really BKT.
Malaysians know not to eat the satay in Singapore lah. We not stupid.
so weird you opened the video by saying you want to only taste food you can only find in malaysia then proceed to justify why you choose foods that are mostly available in Singapore 😂
@Alderic.

Alderic, you need to check your Mike. Sounds like you are speaking under the blanket. Muffled.

@bleakarro my friend,you shouldn't have dignified his comment with a response. To be a credible foodie youtuber, the prime requisite is to - HAVE NO FOOD RESERVATIONS WHEN YOU ARE ON A FOOD EPIPHANY. Alderic is on his way to being ONE. Excalibur !
Malaysia BKT is just herbal mixed pig organs soup, whereby u can add meatballs, bean curd, mushrooms etc… 😂 Heritage dish?? Is call chic tuk teh😅
