Thank you for sharing this Todd. Huge respect for you. Its really nice to know there are still a few honest guys out there in the fishing industry doing things the right way and for the right reasons. In the long run this kind of attitude is what gets people to be brand loyal and they can pick a lure off the shelf knowing it has street cred. Cannot wait to try this bait in South Africa, it will be a game changer. P.S. You need to visit South Africa. We have some of the best Bass fishing in the world.

Todd, As you know I am a big fan and a supporter, great job on video, and yes, I know how hard it is to release stuff like that. I live on the coast and frequent T-Bend , but I throw many things for Redfish that no one throws for a reason, stuff from the past that TIME forgot , but the fish did not. Don't let the saltwater baits out of the bag, I throw a bunch of those. I bet we throw some of the same things, and your right no one throws them.

Very good story behind this bait. I have had things that worked so good before that you are torn between showing a buddy and keeping it to yourself. Good video.

Colors can be tricky as it depends on water clarity, in the last video I released today I threw the blue craw color for the first time.

Going to try this , been looking at those style baits. Just seen this bait on TRF channel and talked you up good so I’m going to get a few thanks man! Man look bait company’s are never make a perfect bait until someone can make a bait that moves and looks like a real fish to the T. And when that happens everyone is going to company that lol. I just have a hard time trying to buy cheaper looking baits like Walmart’s brand . What you think about cotton cordwells baits? Love to see a video on those.

If it’s better than the swank 77 I can’t wait to try the real deal!!

im sure you already know but i really feel like you should be putting links to purchase all the gear you use in your video descriptions at the bottom of the video {rod,reel,line, terminal tackle, lures, clothing, etc.}. much in the way tacticalbassin does on there pages. that being said, love your videos todd! really wanna see you qualify for the elites. good luck the rest of the season, hammer!

If you watch and LISTEN then one would see that you are pretty straight forward and honest about what you are pushing . you have made no false claims , you just shared the truth . im in 100% . BlueCollarBassFishin Brian heavy cranking stuff but not really a cranking rod I use a specific rod a long worm rod that’s not really a worm rod. I’ll try and explain it sometime on video.

I have one of these exact original strike pro baits but have only thrown it 1 time maybe. I didn’t realize what I had but I will be throwing it now for sure!

20# Sunline Sniper always it really doesn't matter if you downsize, you might get 6 more inches but give up the strength. The way they hit it I wouldn't give up that

👍🏼 well we know once it’s released all of East Texas will have them and the fish will get conditioned to them I’m assuming. Will it be available in a silent and maybe a different type of rattle later? I know the hard knock has a lot to do with the original design but it may be worth it to experiment with some different models and see how they do.

The lip is only half the deal, weight, buoyancy, balance, noise. It's got some things working for it unlike anything else.

Cold is always better because they are shallower during the prespawn and fall. However, if they are shallow and dead in the middle of summer they’ll eat it

Yea 6th Sense tried this an was close but not close it catches fish but it doesn't have the same hunting action as this bait. I know a couple people. Jus leave it at that. But man I like the way u operate. If u come to Alabama, let's fish I can put u on some 5lb plus spots.

We are gonna have some different colors for sure. This thing is different and it acts different than a crankbait so certain colors are going to be better than your usual crankbait colors. This bait will surprise you.

You should have them make it in more realistic colors like a bluegill

There is absolutely no way that u can convince me that strike King can make a bait that will be better than 6th Sense in any way. Especially its components or in its colors. Also, if a company stops making a bait because nobody buys them and another company tweaks some shit and puts their sauce all over it and sells it now and sells good, is it really a problem to give people a new badass bait that you can actually get? Is it really even the same bait? I think the swank stands alone and will not be out performed by a company like strike King. I think you probably fucked up copying the strike pro and not the swank.

@@killingyouwithlogic5808 Yes I agree the lip I first saw on the Rapala bait years ago. I think most were for different fish (musky, pike etc). I had this bait for over a year and never threw it. Only after some time did I really understand the bill and what its advantages were.
