The PNW will miss Mike. I have a super long list of places to go eat because of Mike's videos.

No matter how many times I hear it I still love the “until we eat again”

Man, it's so nice to see Mikey auctioning his things and giving money to charity. It really lifted my mood today. Also I hope there will be vlogs from the journey, just like there were when Mikey moved from NY? I can't remember, I have been following him for too long. Anyway, I really loved those.

Im indian thus Asian I lost 20 pounds by just not eating fatty unhealthy foods and playing football 4 times a week

As a native Texan, I can honestly say it will be a joy to welcome you to Texas. I am sorry we have scary heatwaves. I hope you stay hydrated during those times. Because every summer it is about 115*- 130*F. No joke. And it hardly ever snows. Summer lasts until November. Winter is basically December- February. Houston is one of the hottest places because it is a large concrete city that will absorb a lot of heat. Good luck to you and your new journey in life. I'm sorry your bike got stolen. Take care. And safe travels.

Mikey, as a born and raised Washingtonian in the Puget Sound it was great having you experience at least a bit of what we have to offer. If you ever have a chance to come back please remember you are always welcome with open arms. My best friend who grew up in a military family and has just over 500 days left in the Air Force has also been all over the world agrees with you that this is the place he wants to call home for many of the reasons you state. Just don't tell everyone...lol

I'm watching this eating homemade congee liberally doused with Mike's Crispy Garlic Chili Oil! I'm living the dream.

Am I the only one that prefers this channel SLIGHTLY over Strictly Dumplings. I love Mikey’s vlogs.

As someone who has been in Seattle my whole life, this video is making me a bit emotional. Mike, so happy you got to explore this place and you better come back because there is still so much for you to explore. Till you eat again in Seattle. We'll see you again next time.

Travel tip: Always carry a small case with emergency supplies like a couple pairs of disposable chopsticks, an Asian soup spoon, several Shout wipes, some compressed dry wipes, a couple of ziplock baggies, and a sharp knife. After being caught without while on a business trip, I never leave home without these things. :) Happy travels, Mikey. Stay safe!

@@tabreztisekar they typically tell you that you have to go check your bag in. So you have to pay to check in your bag. But if you’re running low on time, then you just have to toss it.

@@Douglas.Kennedy because it's not carry one. You can carry those stuff with a check-in just fine. It's for safety reasons. When you bring liquid on a carry one people can mix them into dangerous combinations. But if it's in the plane cargo hold them no one getting to that mid flight.

Mike thank you so much for the inspiration you have been giving me in your enthusiastic food vlogging! You have been making me feel better despite quitting my job because of discrimination and mental breakdown. I always watch your inspiring videos. Thank you so muchhh!

I know the feeling that Mike talked about. For me, it was my tiny single bed room on campus back when I was in college. So many memorable nights coming in that room passed out drunk and waking up hungover, grinding throughout the night for exams, watching movies on a Saturday night on my laptop with 0 responsibilities on mind, trying to make a decent meal without a stove top, etc.

I'll miss your videos from Seattle and I wish you could spend more time there but I can't wait to see your videos from your BBQ in Texas. It's also so incredible that you're selling almost everything you have and giving the money to charity; that is incredibly generous Mikey!

Mike I bought your 3 pack hot oil sampler and I gotta say they're all actually really good. My favorite is the black bean sauce, a little sweet salty and spicy. My only issue is if u close the lids on the containers all the way, it's literally impossible to get it back open. I still have not had any more crunchy garlic hot oil because of this lol!

Dude, if you want to hike in a secluded area, get a room at the Big Bend National Park Basin Park. It is so secluded, your car radio finds no radio stations... it just scans... Then, hike the South Rim Trail. It is a 11 mile or so hike and gives you a view of Mexico... Super Cool. You might see a cougar or bear... I did.

Coming to Houston. We have big mosquitoes, to go with the humidity. Welcome.

But yea, def. need more around Seattle specifically (like maybe South Lake Union or Cap Hill) so folks don’t have to drive to Lynnwood/Edmonds or Federal Way area for some really good ones.
