I just got a pack of Econolines and didn’t know they had the flip-over tips!!! Thanks for the info, I’m over here going “**** yeah!” Some higher-end alcohol markers have that feature, but I’d never seen it on a watercolor brush pen before. Awesome.

Excellent work....I have been "hand lettering" for over 30 years. First as a Draftsman/Engineering Tech. Try lettering with a Rapidograph pen on mylar...much harder than it looks.

Thank you for the well done, educational video! I too am interested in how to modify the parallel pens. I'm also wondering if you've ever tried using different kinds of ink in the empty ink cartridges that come with the Parallel pens? I love how the parallel pens work, but the ink isn't waterproof and smears easily. I'd love to be able to have the best of both worlds. Also is there a waterproof ink you recommend in general or to try refilling in a parallel pen cart?

How to modify parallel pen
Bruh i can you make a video or please answer abt black ink for pilot parallels i need a very dark black for parallels please tell a good ink except cartridges....and india inks(will clogg the pen) need a non fading dark black ink.......

If you use any other black inks it will clog up the pen. Your best bet is to get a broad nib and use 'moon palace sumi ink'. I wish I could tell you an ink but the best black ink to use for parallel pen is the cartridge.
I would love to know how to modify a pilot pen as I have at least three sets of the pens and can afford to modify one of them.

Prices vary...A LOT! From a few dollars to several hundred (pens made in Germany). I found a $200 set of Pelikan German Pens for $13 on Ebay. Some of the best money can buy! The Rolls Royce/Bentley of Calligraphy pens.
